Akasha is the canine actress who deftly portrays Miss Lovegood. She is a Pomeranian dog, born and raised in the United States.
About
Although Akasha has worked on a variety of other projects, Heroes marks her debut in primetime television. Previously, Akasha had small roles in the films Hotel for Dogs and Superhero Movie. She has also doubled for Lestat in an episode of My Name is Earl. Additionally, Akasha has done advertising work in about a dozen commercials, including being featured on a bag of Science Diet treats.
Notes
- Despite portraying lovers onscreen, Akasha and Lestat are in reality nothing more than roommates and platonic friends.
Trivia
- Akasha's favorite pastime is doing "Dog Agility" with her handler and her Doberman roommate Mina. Akasha particularly enjoys hiking up Rocky Peak on the weekends.
