Names from the Family Tree
- Straight from the Wikipedia!

- Good find! I was actually just sitting down to recreate the family tree... Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:24, 5 February 2008 (EST)
Levitation to build the Pyramids
I have seen a documentary that suggests that this is close to what they did. It suggested they used kites. -Lөvөl 13:38, 5 February 2008 (EST)
???
Wheres my Soma reference? PsilaqTalk to me 15:45 5 February, 2008
- What are the hieroglypic characters for "soma"? Find out then take a look at the tomb case with the heirglyphics on it. I'm not positive, but that's my best guess where it is (assuming it is there at all).--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:09, 5 February 2008 (EST)
No cigar, but thanks for the suggestion. PsilaqTalk to me 21:12, 5 February, 2008
Easter egg
Did this change? Now it's a painting of Mr. Muggles, which I guess could be hanging in the Bennets' home but it is not a photo of the Bennets' home.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:07, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- That's what it always was. I'll change the description. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:39, 5 February 2008 (EST)
Timeline
Does present-day Egypt mean February 2008? Presumably Chandra knew that Abu had the potential to develop an ability. I wonder if he made contact with him...--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:16, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- Tough to say. I don't think we should try to pin down "present-day" to an exact date or year, especially in comparison with events that took place almost 5000 years ago. If every other upcoming graphic novel is set in 2008, we can reconsider. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:20, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- The past few graphic novels have been set in 2008, so I think it's safe to say "present-day" means 2008 for this graphic novel. Whether or not we can claim it's February is a different story, though... so I've added the timeline events as commented for now. Assuming the next story is set in 2008, we can uncomment it then.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:20, 6 February 2008 (EST)
- The past few graphic novels have been set in 2008, but only one story arc has been set in 2008 so far. And even that date is based on a banner which some have speculated is a mistake. I wouldn't say it's safe to say that "present-day" means 2008, especially since the phrase might just as easily be viewed as a contrast to 4500 years ago. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:14, 6 February 2008 (EST)

"Grandfather"
I was just thinking about when Abu says "Grandfather". The term can be applied to any member of your family (the way some people might say "cousin" or "uncle" to refer to a member of their extended family). However, it also might be that Abu recognized Khufu's name as the name of his actual grandfather. Obviously Khufu, the Pharaoh, is not Abu's grandfather. Perhaps Abu's real grandfather was named after the Pharaoh. Hmm... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:35, 5 February 2008 (EST)
- I was thinking something similar, but you were right to remove the speculation.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:40, 5 February 2008 (EST)
A Big Thanks to This Graphic Novel
Two questions in my history test I'm taking right now: "What is the last remaining Wonder of the World?" and "Who was it built for?" Who says comic books don't do any good. :P --NellaBishop 12:26, 21 February 2008 (EST)
