Talk:Abigail
Anybody else think that Abigail is the person Claude hid? The one who got him in trouble with the Company? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:45, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
- It could have been Lee, too. Abigail seemed less in line with Claude, more new. And considering her actions within the comic, I wouldn't see a reason why. She was nothing short of a bitch. Sorry, was I allowed to say (type) that? Therequiembellishere 22:33, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
- (I think you're fine.) Reading Jason Badower's blog, Abigail was always in the novel, but Oliver Grigsby had written in another character in place of Lee. In fact, it almost sounds as if it was Jason who convinced Ollie to make the Lee character Ollie himself. But either way, Claude was hiding an evolved human, and Abigail fits the bill. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:57, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
- I hope they can address this in at least an interview. It'd be even better if Christopher Eccleston could re-join the show. :) Therequiembellishere 20:33, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
- I emailed Ollie, but I know he's busy. I did find it interesting that in conjunction with the novel that introduced a possibility for Claude's ward, so also was released Claude's assignment tracker page, which specifically notes that Claude's ward is still unidentified. I read that as two things going on: either the writers want to tell us it's not her, or they want to remind us of the person he was hiding at the same time as we've been introduced to a really great candidate. Sly writers... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:38, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'd like to see Ollie and Abby on the show! (sort of kidding) Therequiembellishere 20:41, 29 October 2008 (EDT)

I think that Abigail being the hidden one would be anti-climactic, and would waste all of the build-up in 1x17 on nothing. -- Tristan0709 talk 21:41, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Abigail

- I agree, it looks MUCH better. --Skullman1392 23:28, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
- And she doesn't look like she's 40, like everyone ELSE Jason draws.--Gibbeynator 09:20, 20 May 2009 (EDT)
- I prefer this image, personally. It's much simpler and doesn't have as much distracting stuff in the image, as portrait images should be. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:18, 25 May 2009 (EDT)

Abigail is Claude's Daughter
This is strongly implied in the graphic novel Rebellion Part 3 Page 5
Sparrow: Who's this?
Abigail: That's my--
Claude: Nevermind who I am, can you get her out of here? --DumpsterJuice 11:59, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
While possible, it's speculation, therefore it doesn't belong in articles. It can go in theory articles though, but I think it's already there. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:05, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
I did see this confirmed in an interview somewhere. I'll link it when I find it.--Nax 20:38, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
- It definitely wasn't confirmed anywhere I saw (though if you find some kind of confirmation, I'd like to see it--it's still might not be confirmation even if it's in an interview, but it would definitely be noteworthy--I'd have to see it). However, Ollie Grigsby has said quite a few times (on 9thWonders.com) that a father-daughter relationship is certainly possible, but it is definitely not the only possibility. Personally, I don't think a father-daughter relationship is strongly implied in Rebellion, Part 3. I think the only thing that's implied is that they have a relationship. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:45, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
- I'd like if they ended up having a Claire/Noah relationship, not the "love you/hate you/forgive you" never ending cycle, the adoptive parent one, Claude ending up in the same situation as Noah would be add a nice symmetry. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:50, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
- Ok yes, my mistake. It isn't stated that they are related, only that it is a possibility. That's what I get for reading too hastily!--Nax 23:16, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
- No worries. That's one reason why we have these discussion pages--so we can get clarification and opinions from other fans. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:36, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
Abigail is who Claude was hiding from the Company
It seems highly likely they are family, but even if not Claude is obviously a father figure to her. I suspect she was the evolved human Claude hid from the company which led to Noah's orders to kill him. Anyone else thinking this? --D Toccs 02:18, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
Abby's other nickname
It's Invisalign. Sparrow Redhouse calls her this. -- Tarot
