Talk:Samuel's victims

Possible victims

I think we should have a section for possible victims, like we have for characters who killed and injured people in futures. I remember reading that in an iStory, an alternative path lead to him killing Chris Bowman. Are there other deaths and injuries like that? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:59, 9 November 2009 (EST)

  • That'd be good for a Notes section. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:04, 9 November 2009 (EST)
    • How many died in the sinkhole from Ink? I remember the firefighter telling Peter and Hesam a number. I believe it was three, can anyone confirm? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:30, 9 November 2009 (EST)
      • Yes, three. I added it to the page. I also changed the lead image so it would show a victim, since this is a page about the victims. If we can get a good picture of Samuel and a victim, that's ideal, but I think it's more important to get the victims. (Plus, more gruesome!) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:45, 9 November 2009 (EST)
        • I think we should remove Mohinder from this page until it's confirmed he was killed, or injured, or whatever, by Samuel. AltesUTC CH

Main Image

Is there a good image of Samuel and Joseph (after Samuel killed him) from Thnksgiving?--Hiroman 12:12, 24 November 2009 (EST)

Arnold

I can't think of a similar example among others' victims when a victim was hurt and a bit later killed. Should Arnold stay in Samuel's other victims? AltesUTC CH

  • Yes. Before Tracy was confirmed to be alive, she was listed under both "Kills" and "Other victims" on the Danko's victims page. --Radicell 09:53, 22 December 2009 (EST)

Image

Should we use this image?

-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 07:17, 16 January 2010 (EST)

  • I think so. It's much more clear that he's hurt someone. The one we have now just looks like joseph is looking up. --mc_hammark 08:01, 16 January 2010 (EST)

Village

So, should we add the people from the village?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 12:15, 20 January 2010 (EST)

  • Well, we've still been discussing whether or not it was that village, or the village he built for the carnys. Leave it till next week until we find out which it was, Lydia will probably say something to him like "why did you destroy it?", or if it was a villiage, she'll probably say to some other carny that he's gone too far... --mc_hammark 12:18, 20 January 2010 (EST)

Lydia

Shouldn't we add Lydia now? I know he didn't physically cause her death, but it was under his order she was shot, which makes him a direct cause in effect doesn't it?--Evil Maldini 10:17, 26 January 2010 (EST)

  • That sounds like good logic, but if we extended it to everybody he indirectly victimized, then really every single member of the carnival would be on the list. Let's leave it at people who were directly victimized by Samuel. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:05, 26 January 2010 (EST)
    • I can't really argue that I suppose. I just feel that her death, in the manner that it occured deserves some kind of recognised guilty party so to speak, but fair enough.--Evil Maldini 11:45, 26 January 2010 (EST)
      • I must say that i agree with Evil Maldini, because Samuel really sad that thats what he wanted.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 12:30, 26 January 2010 (EST)
        • I think a note would be acceptable. Something along the lines of "Lydia was shot and killed by one of Eli's clones, under the direct order of Samuel." --Skullman1392 17:21, 27 January 2010 (EST)
          • Plus the fact he didn't keep the pressure on the wound or let Claire revive her, allowing her to die. --mc_hammark 17:22, 27 January 2010 (EST)
            • Exactly, I forgot about that part. --Skullman1392 17:30, 27 January 2010 (EST)
              • So, with that in mind can we add her?--Evil Maldini 11:31, 29 January 2010 (EST)
                • I'd guess so. --Leckie -- Talk 11:40, 29 January 2010 (EST)
                  • I thought the kill went to Eli? Does not preventing someone's death count as killing them? In which case Isaac's death was suicide. As was Jeremy Greer's. --mc_hammark 15:38, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                    • Eli killed her, but it was on Samuel's orders. I don't think the "kill" goes to Eli, but it should be put in the notes that Lydia died under the orders of Samuel and also because Samuel did nothing to prevent her death. --Skullman1392 16:55, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                      • More than one person was responsible for her death. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:04, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                        • You could possibly say that it was part Noah/Lauren's fault, because if they hadn't been up that hill, then that wouldn't have really given Eli the chance to start shooting.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 18:03, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                          • And echo and danny pine would come under Noah's victims since he put them on a platter for sylar, as would trevor. --mc_hammark 18:11, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                            • Catalyst, that's a bit of a stretch, they had no intention for anyone to die, unlike Samuel. And hammark, I would agree with that, they should all be in the Notes section for Noah (possibly Trevor for Elle). --Skullman1392 18:17, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                              • I wouldn't put trevor for elle, yes she originally took him there, but then she had the intention to stop his death. --mc_hammark 18:23, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                                • What I said, I don't really think that. But someone might, as they did bring guns (I know it was intentioned for Samuel, but...). Anyway, I don't think it was their fault, just partly Eli's, and partly Samuels.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 18:25, 30 January 2010 (EST)
                                  • Sorry Catalyst, I know you don't really think that way, I should have recognized that. And since Elle was against it in the beginning and then tried to stop it again, it wouldn't be right to list him as one of her kills. Although, maybe listing him as a victim: "While intially against the idea, Elle takes Trevor to Gabriel's apartment, and provokes Gabriel into attacking and then killing Trevor." I don't know, just a thought. --Skullman1392 21:32, 30 January 2010 (EST)

Other Victims

Should we link to Edgar's victims and Eli's victims here (like we did by putting René's victims with Noah's victims)?--Boycool42 19:47, 8 March 2010 (EST)

  • No. Noah had countless victims through the Haitian. We don't know as much about the history of Edgar/Samuel or Eli/Samuel. I think we should just list the people individually--for instance, Claire, Lydia, and the other carnies are Samuel's victims because they were shot by Eli, on Samuel's orders. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:29, 8 March 2010 (EST)
    • Ok, thanks.--Boycool42 16:04, 9 March 2010 (EST)
