Tamlyn Tomita is the actress who portrays Ishi Nakamura.

She is best known for portraying "Kumiko" in The Karate Kid, Part II. She has also appeared in Quantum Leap as "President Palmer's" press secretary in 24, and as the wife of a victim in The Mentalist. Tamlyn also appeared alongside Colby French in Law & Order: LA.
