Fight or Flight
Elle goes to the shipping yard in Cork, Ireland in search of Peter, asking Will where he is while lightly flirting with him. He tells her that Peter is at the Wandering Rocks and Elle thanks him and walks away.
Fitzpatrick tells Peter of a woman who hit on everybody at the shipping yard in search for him. He then leaves.
Late into the night, Elle arrives at the Wandering Rocks and asks Ricky whether or not they have haggis - Ricky corrects her. Elle says that she is looking for a guy, and Ricky tells her to wait until after a football game. Elle asks about Peter, and Ricky claims not to know him. Ricky continues his plausible deniability until Elle prepares to leave, when she turns around and fries him alive, killing him in the process.
Four Months Ago...
As Peter returns to visibility in an unnamed hospital in New York City, Elle zaps him in the back, knocking him unconscious.
Peter wakes up later next to Elle in Bob's office. She shocks him with tiny lightning bolts, and feels him up while Bob explains Nathan's current situation and what to do to prevent Peter from exploding once more.
Elle gives Peter a haircut, telling him to take his pills every day for her. As she leaves, she shocks his head, and tells him that the shocks will hurt at first, but soon he will start to enjoy it. She leaves the cell.
Two months later, Elle returns to Peter in his cell, and tells him that she will up the dose. She shocks Peter's fingers in a sadistic ritual, and tells him about her past. She exits the cell, and Adam tells Peter that he caved in a delicate situation a few years ago, and is still paying the price for it.
Another month passes, and Elle visits Peter again, only she does not shock him initially. Peter asks for it, and Elle joins him, reaching for his hand, when Peter starts kissing her. Elle shocks Peter's lips instead. Peter stands to take the pills, and hands the empty cup to Elle. She leaves with a smile.
At a New York shipping yard, Elle and the Haitian catch Peter and Adam preparing to escape from the city. Elle tells Peter that they could have had something special, and chases after them. She decides to follow Adam, while the Haitian chases Peter.
Cautionary Tales
Bob introduces Mohinder to his temporary partner and Bob's daughter - Elle. Mohinder is surprised to see Bob's daughter, when she asks him if his power is that of a punching bag. She tells him to watch, and she shoots a glass of water, breaking it and lighting it on fire. Mohinder is shocked.
Mohinder enters the Costa Verde hotel after a phone call with Noah and tells Elle and Bob that they can isolate him instead of killing him. Elle starts hugging and feeling up Mohinder, and then asks her father if she can keep Mohinder to herself. Bob looks annoyed. Elle gives Mohinder a gun.
Elle and Mohinder sit in a car waiting for Noah, when Mohinder asks about how many people she has killed. She refuses to answer him, saying that it is none of his business. Mohinder relents, and tells her that he will talk to Noah first. He leaves the car.
Mohinder and Noah stand in an alleyway, and Elle soon joins the two. As Elle prepares to attack Noah, West flies down and grabs ahold of Elle, throwing her into a car and knocking her unconscious.
Elle wakes up, tied and bound, as Noah asks her for her father's location. Elle ends up shocking herself. Noah continues explaining about Elle's tragic past, and says that he does not want Claire to end up the same as her.
Noah phones Bob and tells him that a trade shall commence on the beach - Elle for Claire. Noah warns that if Claire is hurt, he will kill Elle.
West, Noah and Elle wait around on the beach for Bob and Claire, as Elle hears about West's escape plan. A car pulls up, and Bob, Mohinder and Claire climb out. Elle and Claire walk back to their respective parties, with Claire getting flown away, when Elle breaks free and fires a ball at West and Claire. She prepares to attack Noah, but he shoots her in the arm. Bob consoles her, and Noah aims the gun at Bob's head - only for Mohinder to kill him.
