After moving to the U.S. in 1955 Noriaki attended school at Roosevelt High School in Eastern Los Angeles, and then went on to Occidental College and graduated in 1971. From there, he re-enrolled in a Kyoto-based college. Noriaki then took a three-month excursion though multiple countries. After transferring in and out of various ministries, he later settled back in Los Angeles where he continues to lead. |

Noriaki Ito is a reverend at the Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple. He is the firstborn son to Horyu and Kazuko Ito. After moving to the U.S. in 1955 Noriaki attended school at Roosevelt High School in Eastern Los Angeles, and then went on to Occidental College and graduated in 1971. From there, he re-enrolled in a Kyoto-based college. Noriaki then took a three-month excursion though multiple countries.
