Dana Davis is the actress who portrays Monica Dawson.
About
Despite graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a music degree in 2001 and singing with the group "Necessity," Dana Davis became a young actress. She is recognized from her popular role as "Althea" on Gilmore Girls, and her co-starring role as the youngest hostage from The Nine. Dana has also had roles in other television shows such as Criminal Minds, Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies, Boston Public, CSI: Miami, Cold Case, The O.C, Point Pleasant, Pushing Daisies, Veronica Mars (with Kristen Bell, Tessa Thompson, Francis Capra, and Rick Peters), Malcolm in the Middle, and Joan of Arcadia. Her film credits include roles in Coach Carter and the short No Prom for Cindy. Dana has performed on Broadway in "Fools," "The Miracle Worker," and some musicals.
Additionally, Dana has performed musically in That's So Raven, with Barbra Streisand in her "Timeless Tour," and singing in a backup choir for Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack.
