As Luke is about to call the cops, Sylar walks out of a room and [[TK|sits]] Luke and Mary down in chairs, unable to move. Sylar tells Simmons that he is going to torture them in front of him. As he is talking about their home life, Luke breaks free of his grip and [[Microwave emission|microwaves]] Sylar's coffee. Sylar wants to see his ability in use more to observe its limits. But when agent Simmons pulls out the nails in his hands that were stuck in the chair, Luke pushes Sylar out of the way, microwaving Simmons killing him. As Sylar is leaving on the search for his father, Luke suggests he come with him, as they are alike, and thaat Luke will take his mother's car. |

When Sylar arrives at Samson's home, he is ambushed by Danko's team. Though with the help of is abilities he could not be stopped. He lifts an agent, starting to slice his head wanting answers. But when Simmons doesn't budge, Sylar continues to torture him.
