Character History
Fight or Flight
Atsumi helps Ando follow the story of Hiro and Takezo Kensei by restoring the legibility of faded scrolls written by Hiro in the distant past.
Heroes Evolutions
Curator Tatsuya Atsumi provides scholarly and cultural commentary to the documentary Sword Saint. He introduces the viewer to Whitebeard's Hidden Fortress, the Fire Scroll, and Linderman. Atsumi also provides an explanation to Kensei's name: "It is doubtful that Takezo Kensei was our hero’s birth name. Kensei translates to "Sword Saint," a term given to only the most skillful and revered warriors. No parents would actually name their child this. More likely it was a name given to him."
