| history = Fisk's powers manifested late in his life. He grew up in a poor family, becoming a criminal but later finding meaning in his life through the civil rights movement. His penchant for violence led him to join the Black Panthers, but after their dissolution Fisk returned to his criminal activities, finding employment in the drug trade. His simple mind and brutish ways made him an appealing pawn for a variety of criminals more intelligent and ambitious than himself. Fisk was able to survive much longer than those who engage in the criminal element normally would, though his lifestyle took a toll on his health. |
| history = Brendan Lewis grew up in Saratoga Springs. While a teenager, he discovered that he could compel plants to grow faster. Soon after manifesting, he was bagged and tagged by Director Thompson, then released back into society. Lewis spent the next two years attempting to evade surveillance. During that time, Lewis's ability developed to the point where he could manipulate medium-sized plants and roots. Tissue samples revealed that he also experienced increased regenerative capabilities. Thompson was able to recover Lewis outside of Boulder, Colorado. Lewis spent a year in a Company lab as extensive study was made of the limits of his powers. While being moved from a Level 2 to a Level 3 holding cell, Lewis was able to escape (see PXIR-9961 for incident analysis). At the time, Lewis was not considered a priority threat. Eventually, Lewis was sighted in Palmer, West Virginia, leading to his recovery by Thompson's son, Agent Thompson, in the nearby ghost town of Silver River. |
When Fisk's powers manifested in his fifties, he used them to gain power and destroy his enemies. His activities drew the attention of the Company, who dispatched Agent Bennet and the Haitian to bag and tag him. Fisk was not deemed a sufficient threat to warrant imprisonment: instead, his memories of his powers were erased and he was deposited in a rural town far away from his old life. It was believed that these measures would be enough to contain the danger Fisk represented to the general populace. |
During the recovery operation, it became clear that Lewis' powers had unexpectedly accelerated in development during his separation from the Company. His cellular structure and biological systems are more vegetative than animal, and he exhibits extremely advanced regenerative capabilities. He absorbs energy from photosynthesis and exhibits complete control over any plant life in his immediate vicinity. Discovered weaknesses include fire and herbicide. |
Fisk settled in Tombstone, Arizona, finding work as a waiter. Eventually, he rediscovered his powers, and began using them maliciously again. After six deaths, Fisk came to the attention of the Company, who dispatched Agent Thompson to retrieve him. Fisk is currently being held in Primatech Paper's containment facility. |
Agents should note that Lewis has a highly negative stance toward the Company specifically and will react in a uniformly hostile manner toward any agents or staff. Also, Lewis' mutation continues to grow and intensify, and he should be monitored closely for additional, dangerous capabilities. |

| psych = This subject has a long history of deviant behavior and is emotionally unstable, a result of his decades of living in the dangerous criminal environment. Growing up repressed, the subject grew intensely distrustful of organized society, and harbors intense resentment towards those not of African American descent, typically Caucasians, who he has exclusively targeted.<BR> |
| psych = The subject exhibits moderate passive-aggressive tendencies, as well as early indicators for paranoid schizophrenia, the latter possibly exacerbated by his species transition and by the fact that he really is being followed by people who intend to conduct experiments upon him.<BR> |
Violence is deeply habitualized within this subject, to the point where he has become completely desensitized to it. With a tested intelligence quotient that falls far below the standard average, it comes as no surprise that the subject has spent most of his life as a simple thug-for-hire. Interestingly, the subject also exhibits no capacity for long-term planning, or even much consideration for the concept of the future, indicating possible psychotic elements as well. |
Communication patterns continue to evolve as his primary social focus shifts to the plant life around him, but all recent interaction with the Company suggests all classic comorbid conditions, including clinical depression and anxiety. Allowed to persist in the wild, the subject would likely experience a high degree of social dysfunction such as long-term unemployment, homelessness and possibly suicide. |
