Not a Heroes RPG but a heroes RPG. It's set in a different universe and takes more influence from the works of Stan Lee and Alan Moore than it does Heroes. Thanks anyways though. ^_^ --Tesphen 13:41, 16 December 2007 (EST)

Awesome Times Square image you uploaded. I like how it is a shot from pretty much right where Hiro was standing...Since it's not a screenshot anymore, it needs a source. If you took the picture yourself, just write that on the page. Otherwise, you can just link to the website from which you got the picture. Thanks as always! -- 12:36, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Heroes Unmasked

Thanks for your work on Heroes Unmasked. I'm having a hard time accessing the videos on BBC's website--I know you have to live in the UK to access some of the features, but I don't know if that's the reason the videos aren't coming up for me or not. Anyway, episodes 4 and 5 are not yet on YouTube--if you are able to upload them to YouTube, that'd be great. Just let me know because I'd like to watch them. They're really interesting videos. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:02, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

Bridget Bailey

Hey, what do you know about Bridget Bailey? She's the evolved human who is mentioned on BBC Two--but all that information is only accessible by residents of the UK. Apparently, she's a lawyer who has the power to touch an object an instantly know its history. She has a series of messages she's exchanged with Mohinder. Do you know anything more about her? Also, can you grab a screencap of Mohinder's office? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:31, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

  • She's mentioned pretty in depth on the BBC Two website. I got this image, but it's not that great. To find out about her, I believe you'd have to go to the "Games" section of the BBC Two's Heroes page. Unfortunately, I'm not located in the UK, so I can access very little on the site. I found out about her at 9th Wonders. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:32, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

Citation for Dallas kills Au Co

It doesn't look like we're citing episodes and graphic novels for the events in Women in Refrigerators. But Au Co's death by Dallas is in Graphic Novel:War Buddies, Part 5, second page. --FissionChips 16:06, 19 October 2007 (EDT)

A warehouse is a warehouse is a warehouse

  • Hey, LS, don't worry about the whole warehouse thing. It's a terrific idea to make warehouse a redirect and move the poker game location to Las Vegas warehouse. You didn't make a mess of things--there's almost nothing you can do that can't be fixed, if needed. That said, I don't think you really did anything that needs fixing, except manually moving the text from the Vegas place to the redirect page. That was a clever solution, but the problem is we have to preserve the history of the page, and a manual move does not do that. Case in point, I wanted to go into the history of the page to see who added the part about the warehouse being in North Vegas--if the page were manually moved, that history would be lost. Incidentally, it was me who added the trivia way back in July. I have no idea where it comes from, and stupid me, I didn't add a source or reference. I'm going to remove it now. So who made the real mess? Well, I believe it was RyanGibsonStewart. Sorry! 08:04, 4 November 2007 (EST)
    • Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. I'll keep looking for things that need doing... what does surprise me about this site sometimes is that today's Sunday, and yet there are things from last Monday that haven't been done yet, like character pages and stuff. That's what I enjoy, the little things... I stay well clear of the main character pages! Anyhow, I'm rambling. So yeah, thanks again!--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  08:25, 4 November 2007 (EST)
      • You know it's okay to ramble on your own talk page, right? :) Besides, I believe my rambling is much longer than your rambling. Hmm... I prefer the details-oriented stuff, too. I sometimes find character histories a chore, so I tend to only do them when I "have to" do them. It's good to have a checklist, though, so we can go back and get the things we missed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:37, 4 November 2007 (EST)
        • Well, exactly. I mean, without that checklist, I think we'd all be completely swamped. It very clearly sets out what needs to be done, and whoever came up with the idea should get a rise. I'm just looking forward to Out of Time now. Speaking of which, what do you think about User:DocM/2008 Evacuation? Reckon it should be moved to mainspace?--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  08:40, 4 November 2007 (EST)
          • Well, maybe after tomorrow's episode. I'd prefer to see a bit more than just a word on a sheet. It's a good article, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:43, 4 November 2007 (EST)

Pssssst! back!

Howdy!

Why yes, I am phoenixautumn from Lostpedia! Fancy meeting you here! User:phoenixautumn/phoenixautumn 16:02. 7 November 2007 (EST)

I dunno, I never really played around with the LP wiki. The reason I joined this one cuz I was frustrated that they list the Curandera as not having any known abilities, when she obviously has one. So I made a page for what I thought was a logical ability that she had, but they said it was too speculative so they deleted it. User:phoenixautumn/phoenixautumn 12:36. 8 November 2007 (EST)

Powers vs. Abilities

I don't want you to think that your changes from "powers" to "abilities" are unappreciated or even wrong. I felt from the tone of some of your discussion comments that you feel badly for making those changes. You shouldn't. You have good intentions and you're trying to help the site, and that is always appreciated, even if the changes came a little early or were a little overzealous. Believe me, in my 30 bazillion edits, I'm sure I've stepped on a few toes, or made edits that people are secretly upset about. I totally recognize your intentions to help standardize the site, and there's nothing wrong with that--you shouldn't feel badly at all. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:50, 19 November 2007 (EST)

  • I agree with Ryan 100%. Heck, you finally got us to have a discussion about something that's been picking at the back of my brain for months.--Hardvice (talk) 19:00, 19 November 2007 (EST)
    • That said, it is still a good idea to proceed with caution and ask first before making a global change, cause if you change your mind and the administrators like the change, it rarely gets changed back. I think you realized that based on your discussion comments. Don't fret it, though, sometimes you have to step on a few toes to discover where the line is, or in this case, that there isn't one.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:25, 19 November 2007 (EST)
      • Okay, thanks guys. You're right, Ryan, I did feel bad about making the changes - but didn't want to say it out loud - because I don't like making mistakes. But hey, you know what, it's cool. Thanks guys, it's good to feel appreciated! :D Oh, and by the way, I'm not sure if I like "Evolved human abilities" - in that case, "Powers" may be better - but that's just me.--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  02:53, 21 November 2007 (EST)

Archivizification

  • I wouldn't archive Talk:Lightning yet because some of those conversations are still in the middle of being discussed. Give it a few days--end of the week or month should be a bit better....But here's the basic process:
    1. Select and cut everything that needs to be archived.
    2. Paste it into a new subpage, something like "Talk:Lightning/Archive 1".
    3. Don't forget to add archivepagetocright to the top of the archive page.
    4. Create a small table at the top of talk:lightning with a link to the archived page and the heading name of each section. Use this code:
Archives
Archived Topics
align=center | Nov 2007 || Title photo · Lightning? · A true analogy · Naming conventions analysis · Peter's Citations and other inconsistencies now created · Ironically · One Last Note · Can we...

...to create this table:

References vs. Groups

I think that References is very vague, franlkly. I think we need to break that portal. --Pinkkeith 12:04, 23 November 2007 (EST)

  • Okay, these are just some thoughts. First we really ought to define what we mean by "references". Characters could be references, if we define it as broadly as we are right now. I think it we should stick to things (products, events, etc) that are mentioned but not actually in the show or in the graphic novel. For example, right now we have Hurricane Katrina under the event portal/template and we have the Vietnam War under the real-world reference portal/template. Product placement should be its on portal with Nissan Versa placed under it. Its not really a reference under my definition, since it was shown in the show. There ought to be references to animals with Dinosaur, and Manatee placed under it. Cockroaches have been actually seen in the show. Again, these are just my thoughts. We could define references some other way. --Pinkkeith 12:18, 23 November 2007 (EST)

Signature

  • Actually, I did :D, I referenced yours the most basically because I liked the layout. If you look at my created sigs page, The grey one is based directly off of yours.--  Japanimation          My Talk   18:41, 30 November 2007 (EST)

Remember Me?

  • Hey it's me! Ikkl Genius from The Whispers and Lostpedia forums? Well, I've set up an RPG very similar in format to The Whispers and was wondering if you'd like to check it out? It centers around group of superheroes. I'll understand if you're preoccupied with Road to Recovery of course but it'd be great if you and Charlie could join. Here's the site.[1]
