  • This why I hate these sterotypical "redneck" towns. That "deputy" went too far, I'm not condoning what Magneto did (oops I meant Samuel) but as viewer looking in a fictional world, it was justified.     • I thought it was messed up, as well, but I'm enjoying how realistic this season has been, what with continuing the Jeremy plot instead of just dropping it and then killing him off in a way real life people would. Things like this and Millie's assassin taking Nathan's jewelry would have never happened in an older season.--Citizen 23:14, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
      • While Samuel was bringing jutice to jeremy, what about the other cops inside the building? I'm sure not all of them knew of Jeremey's true fate, and would have supported it. But oh well, fictional world. Awesome display of earthbending, too. --Piemanmoo 00:09, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
        • Similarly, when Samuel sunk his childhood home and killed the rude dinner party host, he also killed two other people to whom he didn't speak. From a writing standpoint, we're supposed to have mixed feelings about Samuel. He's written so we both cheer him on and boo him at the same time. We are supposed to trust him and distrust him simultaneously. Really, we're supposed to love him and loathe him. If you feel even a bit of that duality (I do!), then it's a testament to the writers and to Robert Knepper's brilliant acting. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:39, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

              • I think Samuel is a great character. He is trying to do good but after loosing his brother he is blinded by what is fair and what isn't. I think that, in the long run, I do trust him. --mc_hammark 07:06, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
                • Samuel very much reminds me of the X-Men's Magneto. He seems to care about his people, but he has no problem killing if he thinks it's justified. He might be Heroes best villain yet!--Cro Magnon 10:49, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
                  • I think his death will drive Tracy to the carnival, and Noah to really start up the Company to help the evolved humans. I have to say. That's the only thing I've been dissapointed with so far this season. We were basically promised a return of the company but it has yet to really happen. --mc_hammark 11:21, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

Jeremy's character had a lot of potential, but I think the writers were mainly using him to set things in motion for the storyline (Tracy inevitably going back to the carnival or telling someone else about it), Noah restarting company with a different focus, and we get to see Samuel use his power (so much better than watching the Nathan, Sylar, Peter fight through Claire's eye). And don't worry Mchammark, I'm sure with Nathan's disappearance Angela will be even MORE compelled to restart the company. Sad that someone with such potential to do remarkable things for people decided to die though.--Jas3point14 19:02, 27 October 2009 (EDT) Oh, wow... that was... pretty grim, even for Heroes. 2 Sylars

One Sylar is at the carnival, with his body but thinking he is Nathan, and the other Sylar, the real Sylar, is a "ghost" in Matt's mind. --JLYK

  • And I'm almost certain that Zach Quinto just wore his own clothes for the carnival scene. Either that, or the costume people just got Zach carbon copies of his own fashion choices. Not quite a match, but almost identical to one of his most worn outfits. Compare [1] to [2]. It's probably not trivia-worthy, but an interesting observation. NileQT87 11:18, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

        • Robert Knepper is great in this role, but he doesn't seem as interesting as Sylar in my opinion. Sylar's character really developed well and although Samuel has similarities (questionable motives, embrace their power, one collects powers, the other collects people with powers, a villain you're supposed to like/hate in a conflicted way), Samuel's character seems to know too much about people too easily. I'm not amused when there's no challenge and he's not really being challenged by anyone yet, whereas Sylar takes on everybody he meets. As satisfying as it was to see Samuel take out the police, his character has yet to appeal to me.--Jas3point14 19:34, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
