Derek is an escaped prisoner with Alejandro.
Character History
When Alejandro is put in his cell in a Mexican police station, Derek remarks (in English) that Alejandro "looks like ass". Alejandro replies that he doesn't speak english. When Maya uses her power on the police to free Alejandro, Derek is also affected and passes out. However, he revives when Alejandro neutralizes the power. He implores the two of them to take him, since he has a car. Apparently they understand some english, as they free him and jump into his car, which is parked outside. The car just happens to be a Nissan Rogue.
Notes
- Derek drives a Nissan Rogue the same color as Claire's--and bearing a CVHS bumper sticker.
