Mohinder rushes to his father's apartment, where he starts to collect up his father's research. When he hears a man on a cell phone in another room, he quickly takes a picture of the map and leaves.
Seven Minutes to Midnight
Mohinder returns to his father's office at Chennai University after spreading his father's ashes at Kanyakumari. He is met by Mira, his former lover, who offers him a job at a genetic research site. As Mohinder is cleaning the office to move into it, he falls asleep. He has a series of dreams about his his father and mother discussing Chandra's trip to New York and his father's death. Both dreams include a a small Indian boy with a soccer ball.
Homecoming
Mohinder searches the streets of Chennai for the Indian boy in his dreams with a nay-saying Nirand. Finally, he finds Sanjog Iyer who confirms his suspicions. Back at the university, Mohinder and Nirand argue about the veracity of the boy's claims. Saying he's had the conversation before, Mohinder finds himself in another dream. Chandra and Nirand, in the dream, argue about the trip to New York. In the same dream, Mohinder comes to Chandra, saying he read his book and wants to help his father. Chandra rebukes him for this, saying that he doesn't have the "heart of stone" needed for this research. Mohinder wakes up and tries to enter into the algorithm, and after a few password attempts, uses "Shanti" and finds the list. He decides to return to New York.
Graphic Novel:The Kill Squad, Part 1
Sean Fallon recalls standing by in Chandra's office in Madras, as Noah and the Haitian document everything in the room.
Trivia
Officially, there's no longer a city named "Madras"; it's now known as "Chennai", thanks to a reform movement in India that is eliminating colonial names in favor of native ones. However, most of the major institutions, including the University of Madras, continue to use the original name.
