J.D. grew up with 3 sister but no parents. All 3 of his sisters also showed abilities from a young age. At the age of 5 he threw his babysitter out of a window, displaying some control over his ability. According to on the job company agent and Dawson family lawyer, Bridget Bailey, he was always fast with learning how to control new abilities. And how older he gets how quicker he learns.
Being raised without any parents left some damage in the boys mind. It left him sarcastic and not very friendly towards strangers, as in attack first ask questions later. Although ther is no real danger to see in him at the moment, a friendly approach does miracles.
