Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa got his first big break as an actor when he was cast in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor in 1987. He also played in many action and martial arts films, including Pearl Harbor, Mortal Kombat, and The Art of War with Wesley Snipes. Outside of acting, he also coaches martial arts.
