Star Wars is the series of science fiction films created by George Lucas in 1977. The six "episodes" chronicle the heroic and tragic journeys of the Skywalker family, including their dealings with The Force, a mysterious power which, when accessed, gives individuals extraordinary powers.

Hiros
Hiro, frustrated with Ando for wanting to cheat at gambling, says that using powers for personal gain is "the Dark Side". In Star Wars, the Dark Side of the Force is tapped by evil individuals, giving them power to profit, cheat, and destroy.
Better Halves
After learning that a future version of himself carries a sword, Hiro excitedly practices brandishing a sword in a style similar to Luke Skywalker's first foray with a lightsaber.
How to Stop an Exploding Man
Ando, attempting to rouse Hiro's courage, reminds him of his heroes from varied stories, including those from Star Wars.
Later, at Kirby Plaza, Sylar telekinetically chokes Peter in much the same way that Darth Vader would "grab" his subordinates.
Heroes 360
- In one of Hiro's blog entries, Hiro wonders if he's a Jedi or could use a Jedi mind trick on the Tokyo subway train conductor, making the train late.
- In a blog entry from the Nevada desert, Hiro checks in, calling, "Uncle Owen? Aunt Beru?" Owen and Beru are the names of Luke Skywalker's aunt and uncle who lived in the desert.
- Frustrated with 9th Wonders!'s cliffhanger ending, Hiro blogs that he could use his own personal Yoda. He then equates the Nevada desert to Tatooine, worries about being attacked by Jawas, calls Ando a "cyborg translator", and says, "Isaku-san, you're my only hope." Ultimately, he wants to find his lightsaber.
