Adam and Peter make their way through Primatech Paper towards the vault to retrieve the vial. Peter manages to open the vault, but Hiro appears as they prepare to enter. Peter knocks Hiro out and Adam enters, but Peter is further confronted by Matt and Nathan.
Inside the vault, Adam retrieves the vial and reaches for a golden key when Hiro teleports into the vault. After a heated conversation, Hiro teleports both himself and Adam from the vault. The vial plummets through the air, but Peter stops its fall and then destroys it.
