Nidia helps Maya and Alejandro in their quest to cross the US border.
Character History
Lizards
Alejandro and Maya, seek the aid of Nidia, on their journey north to America. Nidia welcomes them into her home to rest, then afterwards becomes their guide as they attempt to cross the border between Guatemala and Mexico. At this time, a border guard causes Alejandro to become separated from Maya, and Maya's ability begins to manifest, killing Nidia. Soon thereafter, Alejandro is reunited with them, and uses his ability to both heal Maya and seemingly raise Nidia from death. Upon regaining consciousness, Nidia runs away, yelling, "Stay away from me Devil, Stay away!".
Notes
- From their initial introduction, it is apparent that Nidia knows either Maya and Alejandro, or someone from their family; but their relationship is not stated.
