Review
- Good novel. It's nice to learn some more about the early days of the Company, and looks like it will be continued, though it didn't specify. The new power seems to be "ability absorption"--definitely touch-based and the effects on the person the ability is absorbed from is unknown, though from the "now it's mine" it sounds as if the person it is absorbed from loses the ability.--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:42, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- I agree, ability absorbtion is the best name we can come up with at the moment, since we really don't know anything else. If not, just "Linda's power" would fit. -Piemanmoo 04:49, 19 February 2008 (EST)
Title?
I am following the example of the other War Buddies, I don't know if we want to do it like this or not, we never had a "Part" with other GNs in between. -Lөvөl 04:02, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- I actually think "War Buddies, Coming Home" would be better since "War Buddies, Part 7" seems so out of place. -- Seclusion talk / contribs 04:40, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- The other War Buddies had titles like that, but we didnt include them either. It does look out of place, but then again so is the production order of it. --Piemanmoo 04:49, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- You did it correctly, Level. It should be "War Buddies, Part 7". The subtitle is "Coming Home". We haven't included the subtitle in the actual title because some parts of multi-part GNs either have no subtitle, or they have the same subtitle as another GN (see War Buddies, Part 2 and War Buddies, Part 3). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 05:12, 19 February 2008 (EST)
Linda
Too bad she's dead, I'd love to see her onscreen. She looks stunning! :) Oh well, maybe they'll do a flashback... --Looky 06:37, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- I don't see how they can, seeing as how both she and Lindy are dead, but I agree with you on all counts - especially regarding her looks ;) --Yamawhata? 18:00, 20 February 2008 (EST)
Thought
Stupid idea, but why would she need to write down Linderman's power if she was going to have it permanently? Psilaq Talk to me 15:43, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- Not a stupid idea, it's a good question as to why she was keeping a journal of people and their abilities and how she knew where Daniel Linderman and Arthur Petrelli were. I'm assuming her knowledge was from the classified war documents, but not necessarily.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:50, 19 February 2008 (EST)

Notepad vs. notebook
I left all the references as notepad, but too me her journal appears to be more of a notebook. Any other opinions? Also, since there are at least two entries in it, and since there will probably be more introduced in the upcoming volumes, is it okay to add an article for it now or should we wait?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:01, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- Does it matter if we call it a notepad or a notebook? The only difference I see in those two terms is the size if the object; since it seems medium sized (and it's all relative and subjective anyway), I don't see any harm in using the words interchangeably. If we're looking to write an article, I hope it'll be a bit more explained in next weeks GN (or in the next three weeks' GNs)... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:29, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- I'm guess it will continue the next two weeks... as for notepad vs. notebook, you'd think we'd be more particular about these things when the main Company of the story is a "paper" company. ;) It doesn't matter too much to me, which is why I didn't change it off the bat, but I've always referred to notepads as being a set of papers which are binded at the top, and notebooks as being binded on the side.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:34, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- Either way works for me. I guess as long as there are redirects, it doesn't matter much to me what the actual name is. "Tomato, tomahato, let's call the whole thing off!" :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:39, 19 February 2008 (EST)
- Heading into lame territory here. Watch out! -- Seclusion talk / contribs 00:29, 20 February 2008 (EST)
- MiamiVolts, I always personally made the same distinction you do when calling something a book or a pad. (Admin 00:36, 20 February 2008 (EST))
