Shishir has appeared in a variety of television shows, more recently with recurring appearances in the television show Surface. He also had a small role on Lost, coincidentally as a main character's best friend who works at a university. Shishir is also a founding member of the nationally-known Cornerstone Theater Company, a group that promotes and develops new theaters in communities without them.
