• I like how they were made to be the agents from that video footage in Butterfly Effect. (they probably mentioned at some point that those two agents were Gael and Bianca, but I probably wasn't paying attention) But yes, it was sad... by the way, what happened to the title "Return of Sylar"?   • Bob told Elle that Cruz and Karina were two of the best agents in the Company... I never thought the title of the novel was going to be The Return of Sylar--I thought it was just announcing that Sylar would be returning in the next novel, which he did. • I am confused as to why Sylar did not take Bianca's power. I know he can't take it if the brain has been damaged (bullet through it), but he can't use it if the owner is already dead? Kevintheomanharris 15:09, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
  • Examining a non-functioning brain won't give you the information you need, I suppose. That's why most of his victims were brutally mutilated because he was in a hurry to get their power before they died. --NellaBishop 19:33, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
    • But with Candice, for example... I know Sylar never actually managed to take her power, but he thought he did. But at that point, Candice was already dead. So couldn't be inferred that all of Sylar's victims would have died long before he got their power? Plus from what we can see of intuitive aptitude in The Second Coming, it's somewhat of a lengthy process. There's lots of poking around in the brain and such.       • Well, if Bianca's power's a subconscious action, like breathing or keeping the heart beating in normal actions, it'd be controlled by the medulla oblongata, which could plausibly be damaged when Sylar broke Bianca's neck...? --Ciwey 11:31, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
• A nice novel, and a really nice ending for Gael and Bianca. Artwise, it is OK, but nothing more. Also, a nice tie-in with the proper show. Over all - really good. :)
