Sendhil Ramamurthy is the American film and television actor who plays Mohinder Suresh.

Sendhil's family comes from India, and his ethnicity plays an important part in his life, and in his acting career. He has made appearances in many television shows, mainly Grey's Anatomy and Numb3rs.

- In an interview on The Megan Mullally Show (December 4th 2006), Sendhil said that "all the kids used to call me 'sandal'". Greg Grunberg then revealed that Sendhil's on-set nickname on Heroes is "flip-flop".
