Stephen Tobolowsky is the American film actor who portrays Bob Bishop.
About
Stephen has appeared in over 100 films and television shows and most recently John From Cincinnati, and a small part as the mayor in Entourage. Stephen is frequently recognized as the annoying insurance agent "Ned Ryerson" from the movie Groundhog Day. Other memorable roles include "Hugo Jarry" in Deadwood, "Don Haffman" in CSI: Miami, "Donny" in Las Vegas, "Mr Bates" in Freaky Friday, "Mr. Bench" in Snoops, "Sammy" in Memento, "Dr. Andross" in Murder One, "Karl" in Dweebs, the Captain of the Guards in Spaceballs, "Dr. Brandes" in Sneakers, and the new age spiritual healer in the episode The Heart Attack from Seinfeld. Additionally, Stephen is the subject of the 2005 documentary, Stephen Tobolowsky's Birthday Party.
In addition to acting, Stephen co-wrote True Stories, and wrote and directed Two Idiots in Hollywood, based on his own play. He also directed A Host of Trouble in 2005.
Stephen appeared in the ABC sit-com "Big Day" with Nicholas D'Agosto. He also appeared in Blind Dating with Jayma Mays, Sendhil Ramamurthy, and Ossie Mair, as well as on The Drew Carey Show with Ian Gomez.
