Not Invisibility

I don't think it is invisibility. I think it's Illusion. The Carnival disappeared when the cops chasing Sylar went over the hill. And I'm pretty sure a similar noise to the one used for illusion was used when she returned to the school behind Claire and Gretchen.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 22:22, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • That's a good point. I think we need to be careful before assuming it's invisibility. I assumed it was invisibility, too, but after seeing your comment I'm going to have to go back and check again. (Admin 22:48, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
    • She was with the pledges at the time of the carnival thing.--WarGrowlmon18 23:01, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Do we know where the carnival is exactly? Based on the end of the last episode I kind of assumed Sylar got teleported to the location of the carnival possibly by Arnold. They're not exactly making a lot of things too obvious this season. :) (Admin 23:09, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
        • Don't forget Callum. He's their resident illusion guy. There's no way it was Rebecka, since she was at the dorm.--Ratclaws 23:14, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
          • Good point! I'm a bit behind on the Evolutions stuff. I really feel like Rabecka's ability is invisibility, personally. (Admin 23:15, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
  • Heroes Interactive:Hysterical Blindness confirms Becky's ability as invisibility. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:21, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Samuel didn't tell anyone else about who was supposed to be coming, and Arnold seems barely able to use his powers anymore. I think Sylar had basically wandered straight into the carnivel and one of the family used Illusion to make the cops see nothing. Either way, it seems Rebecca has invisibility.Swm 05:27, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • rgs, could ya explain what you mean? I don't remember receiving any Interactive SMS telling me as much (although, I did delete the sms messages already, so I cannot confirm that it wasn't told, either...).'ROESian
      • I haven't done the Heroes Interactive pages because I'm slow and lazy, I suppose. (Though anybody else who receives the messages is welcome to record them, too!) Anyway, one of the last messages to be sent said "Which other Hero has the ability to become invisible like Becky?" Then it lists the choices The Haitian, Claude, and Daphne. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:08, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
        • Oh yeah! I was attempting to think of a trivia statement message (like something basic like, "Becky's ability is known as 'invisibility'") instead of a multiple choice one - which I did get correct, btw... Thanks for joggin' the memory. :) 'ROESian

Her evil actions

Not surprised, I had my suspisons of her from the start. But one thing: Annie got pushed, so how was Claire able to determine that it was a suicide if she supposedly fell in a position that indicated a suicide???--WarGrowlmon18 23:02, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • It looked like she was standing/sitting on the window edge. That could make it seem like she jumped. Personally, i'm skeptical of the whole "Jump, Push, Fall" idea.--Ratclaws 23:10, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
  • The whole jump-push-fall thing can't be exact. I mean realistically if someone jumps out a window it could very well look the same as someone being pushed. In either case it's going to depend on whether the person just drops or if the person jumps. So I guess she just came to the wrong conclusion. (Admin 23:12, 12 October 2009 (EDT))

Name

Where does the spelling "Rabecka" come from? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:30, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Good question... I've never seen it spelled like that. (Admin 00:02, 13 October 2009 (EDT))
    • Sorry, I had made the character page. I thought it was spelled like that because that's how my wife's middle name is spelled...and my sister's first name...07:03, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
  • On another note, she is more often called "Becky" than "Rebecca". We might want to wait and see if that continues to be the case...but if it is, then it's like a Ted or Niki situation, where they have a more formal name (Theodore and Nicole), but they go by their nickname. In those cases, we name the article after the name the person is more commonly called. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:33, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Please keep it Rebecca. Becky sounds kinda childish in my opinion. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 14:02, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
      • She is called both interchangeably by different characters. Samuel calls her "Rebecca". I personally prefer that pages use the most proper name that they're called (yeah, even Gabriel Gray), rather than nicknames, no matter how frequent. In Becky's case, it depends on the character who is saying her name. NileQT87 19:27, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
        • I think we just need to wait a bit... ~~IHHTalk 19:34, 14 October 2009 (EDT)

Uncle Sam

So if Samuel is her uncle, her father is Joseph? AltesUTC CH

    • Or.. Claude.. --Action Figure 03:58, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Highly doubt it's Claude. I'd more suspect that she's either Joseph's daughter or "Uncle" is not being used literally here.Swm 05:24, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
  • Yeah, I think she was calling him uncle because of their unique family. --Laudo 09:48, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • NBC descriptions make it sound very literal that Samuel is her uncle. I'll grab a quote later, if I remember. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:07, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Assuming Joseph is Samuel's biological brother (thus "Joseph Sullivan"), this implies either that Samuel and Joseph had a sister (who married a man named Taylor), or that she is Joseph's daughter, but kept her mother's maiden name. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:17, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

Wow! I really liked her character! At first I thought she was one of those people but then when she did all of that stuff, OMG! I loved it! I think she will be an awesome charcater! And to me I kind of got the idea of a warewolf..I don't know why though.. ~~IHHTalk 17:25, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

  • haha not sure where you're getting the werewolf-thing from :P But I do love her character! There aren't many villains I like, but she is deffinately an exception :D --Skullman1392 23:16, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
When I saw her do all those things I thought "Well, I guess the community stop being assholes to Grethen for bein creepy now".--anguard 23:25, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
