Not Invisibility

I don't think it is invisibility. I think it's Illusion. The Carnival disappeared when the cops chasing Sylar went over the hill. And I'm pretty sure a similar noise to the one used for illusion was used when she returned to the school behind Claire and Gretchen.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 22:22, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • That's a good point. I think we need to be careful before assuming it's invisibility. I assumed it was invisibility, too, but after seeing your comment I'm going to have to go back and check again. (Admin 22:48, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
    • She was with the pledges at the time of the carnival thing.--WarGrowlmon18 23:01, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Do we know where the carnival is exactly? Based on the end of the last episode I kind of assumed Sylar got teleported to the location of the carnival possibly by Arnold. They're not exactly making a lot of things too obvious this season. :) (Admin 23:09, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
        • Don't forget Callum. He's their resident illusion guy. There's no way it was Rebecka, since she was at the dorm.--Ratclaws 23:14, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
          • Good point! I'm a bit behind on the Evolutions stuff. I really feel like Rabecka's ability is invisibility, personally. (Admin 23:15, 12 October 2009 (EDT))
  • Heroes Interactive:Hysterical Blindness confirms Becky's ability as invisibility. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:21, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Samuel didn't tell anyone else about who was supposed to be coming, and Arnold seems barely able to use his powers anymore. I think Sylar had basically wandered straight into the carnivel and one of the family used Illusion to make the cops see nothing. Either way, it seems Rebecca has invisibility.Swm 05:27, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • rgs, could ya explain what you mean? I don't remember receiving any Interactive SMS telling me as much (although, I did delete the sms messages already, so I cannot confirm that it wasn't told, either...).'ROESian
      • I haven't done the Heroes Interactive pages because I'm slow and lazy, I suppose. (Though anybody else who receives the messages is welcome to record them, too!) Anyway, one of the last messages to be sent said "Which other Hero has the ability to become invisible like Becky?" Then it lists the choices The Haitian, Claude, and Daphne. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:08, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
        • Oh yeah! I was attempting to think of a trivia statement message (like something basic like, "Becky's ability is known as 'invisibility'") instead of a multiple choice one - which I did get correct, btw... Thanks for joggin' the memory. :) 'ROESian

Her evil actions

Not surprised, I had my suspisons of her from the start. But one thing: Annie got pushed, so how was Claire able to determine that it was a suicide if she supposedly fell in a position that indicated a suicide???--WarGrowlmon18 23:02, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • It looked like she was standing/sitting on the window edge. That could make it seem like she jumped. Personally, i'm skeptical of the whole "Jump, Push, Fall" idea.--Ratclaws 23:10, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
  • The whole jump-push-fall thing can't be exact. I mean realistically if someone jumps out a window it could very well look the same as someone being pushed. In either case it's going to depend on whether the person just drops or if the person jumps. So I guess she just came to the wrong conclusion. (Admin 23:12, 12 October 2009 (EDT))

Where does the spelling "Rabecka" come from? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:30, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Good question... I've never seen it spelled like that. (Admin 00:02, 13 October 2009 (EDT))
    • Sorry, I had made the character page. I thought it was spelled like that because that's how my wife's middle name is spelled...and my sister's first name...07:03, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
  • On another note, she is more often called "Becky" than "Rebecca". We might want to wait and see if that continues to be the case...but if it is, then it's like a Ted or Niki situation, where they have a more formal name (Theodore and Nicole), but they go by their nickname. In those cases, we name the article after the name the person is more commonly called. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:33, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Please keep it Rebecca. Becky sounds kinda childish in my opinion. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 14:02, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
      • She is called both interchangeably by different characters. Samuel calls her "Rebecca". I personally prefer that pages use the most proper name that they're called (yeah, even Gabriel Gray), rather than nicknames, no matter how frequent. In Becky's case, it depends on the character who is saying her name. NileQT87 19:27, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
        • I think we just need to wait a bit... ~~IHHTalk 19:34, 14 October 2009 (EDT)
          • Our standards are to use the name that is most common. Niki Sanders and Ted Sprague are excellent examples. Becky has been called "Rebecca" exactly once, and "Becky" numerous times by both friends and family. I'm going to move the page to the name that she is most commonly called. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:51, 29 October 2009 (EDT)

Uncle Sam

So if Samuel is her uncle, her father is Joseph? Green.gif AltesUTC CH

    • Or.. Claude.. --Action Figure 03:58, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Highly doubt it's Claude. I'd more suspect that she's either Joseph's daughter or "Uncle" is not being used literally here.Swm 05:24, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
  • Yeah, I think she was calling him uncle because of their unique family. --Laudo 09:48, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
    • NBC descriptions make it sound very literal that Samuel is her uncle. I'll grab a quote later, if I remember. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:07, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
      • Assuming Joseph is Samuel's biological brother (thus "Joseph Sullivan"), this implies either that Samuel and Joseph had a sister (who married a man named Taylor), or that she is Joseph's daughter, but kept her mother's maiden name. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:17, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

The carnies, people at te carnival are a 'family' so the call eachother uncle, aunts, even if their not blood relative. WaterRatj 02:35, 15 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Or she could be related to Samuel through an unseen wife that Samuel has. But probably not. Anyway, there's an internal document circulated among writers and digital writers, and it describes Becky as "Samuel's niece with the power of invisibility". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:43, 15 October 2009 (EDT)

Didn´t Samuel said to Lydia they were going to have a new cousin? Just a thought, but I still think its like "uncle in the Carnival family". --Jmfdr 16:04, 17 October 2009 (EDT)

Samuel said in a seen, we have many cousins out their, so this would explain her name referring from becky to him as uncle -- (WaterRatj) 08:28, 23 October 2009 (EDT)

  • The other thing that would explain Becky calling him "Uncle" is that he really is her uncle. (Cousins are not the same as nieces.) An internal document at NBC describes Becky as "Samuel's niece", and it sounds quite literal, not figurative. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:47, 23 October 2009 (EDT)

Wow! I really liked her character! At first I thought she was one of those people but then when she did all of that stuff, OMG! I loved it! I think she will be an awesome charcater! And to me I kind of got the idea of a warewolf..I don't know why though.. ~~IHHTalk 17:25, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

  • haha not sure where you're getting the werewolf-thing from :P But I do love her character! There aren't many villains I like, but she is deffinately an exception :D --Skullman1392 23:16, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
When I saw her do all those things I thought "Well, I guess the community stop being assholes to Grethen for bein creepy now".--VanguardLogo.pnganguard 23:25, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

Wikipedia still lists her name as "Rabecka Taylor"... Green.gif AltesUTC CH

Just wondering where the new image came from... I think the old one was better (mainly because it was brighter, you could see her face better) --Skullman1392 20:04, 25 October 2009 (EDT)

  • That image reminds me of Isabelle Tyler from The 4400. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:07, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
  • It's a promotional image found on NBCUMV. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:39, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
  • It reminds to Isabelle too. I miss the 4400. --Jmfdr 23:14, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

Should we make a victim page for Becky? She killed one time and she gots many victims.--Yoshi n1 16:31, 10 November 2009 (EST)

  • Sure! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:33, 10 November 2009 (EST)
    • Anybody disagrees?--Yoshi n1 16:33, 10 November 2009 (EST)
      • Does she have enough victims? Annie, Claire and Gretchen. Anyone else? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:37, 10 November 2009 (EST)
        • That girl that was almost hit with an flag and i think more..--Yoshi n1 16:42, 10 November 2009 (EST)
          • Oh yeah, blond girl Claire pushed out the pole's way. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:43, 10 November 2009 (EST)
            • So Intuitive Empath you agree?--Yoshi n1 16:52, 10 November 2009 (EST)
              • Hmmm theres a few but I'm not sure if its enough, last episode almost seemed to end her role, but if she does return and has more victims, I say we make one, not yet though.-- By Danko CH 17:04, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                • It can go either way for me. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:08, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                  • We don't know her role is over. She still wants revenge and I think Claire and the Carnival thing was supposed to be a bit ambiguous at the end there.--WarGrowlmon18 17:15, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                    • I say that we make one, like Wargrowl says she still wants revenge and im pritty sure she is going to make more victims.--Yoshi n1 17:16, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                      • Well we don't know, I say if she returns, still out for revenge and causes more victims we make one, OK?-- By Danko CH 17:19, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                        • Im ok with that.--Yoshi n1 17:26, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                          • I guess, but she'll probably be back and probably has more victims that we don't know about yet given that she's apparently insane or at least mentally unstable. Even Samuel says she wasn't supposed to kill Annie, but her mind is seriously warped so if she did that and had no problems trying to kill Gretchen, she probably does have more unknown victims. I mean, all Sammie apparently wanted was Claire to be isolated, not everyone around her murdered. If she interpreted her orders like that, imagine how she must;ve interperted any other orders that she's been given.--WarGrowlmon18 17:36, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                            • I dont really know, im ok with Danko's idea but it is true what Wargrowl is saying, there's a pritty big chance that she is going to make more victims and if an new episode comes out our community is always bussy with other things that something small like this, so i say lets make it now.--Yoshi n1 17:45, 10 November 2009 (EST)
                              • I'm sure we will have the time, but if you feel it must be made now, feel free to make it in your userspace and if circumstances arrive, we can move it.-- By Danko CH 17:52, 10 November 2009 (EST)

The Art of Deception

I don't think Becky appeared in The Art of Deception. I'd like to see a screenshot of her appearance. I'm pretty sure it was another carny, from what I remember. I'm going to comment out the section for now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:30, 27 January 2010 (EST)

  • I can do that, just wait a sec-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 02:10, 28 January 2010 (EST)
    • Becky on the laptop
And btw, Lauren goes to another screen really fast so it was hard to see, but Lydia and Samuel also appear but it's very hard to see.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 02:43, 28 January 2010 (EST)
      • Yeah, her image is shown on the laptop. This means that we can document this on Becky's page, but we won't be adding her to the appearances template since still-photos don't count for appearances. --Radicell 04:01, 28 January 2010 (EST)

Uh, unless someone shatters her, shouldn't we consider her as alive? She could still be alive inside the ice. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:40, 2 February 2010 (EST)

  • Exactly what I thought. Not to mention that ice melts... --Skullman1392 20:51, 2 February 2010 (EST)*
    • Her head appeared to be completely encased in ice. If it was, she would not be able to breathe. After a very short while (if not released from the ice) she would die by asphyxiation.--Guyver 21:21, 2 February 2010 (EST)
      • Well she was frozen in mid air, if she remained intact upon hitting the ground then maybe. Otherwise I don't see her being alive. --Dman dustin 21:28, 2 February 2010 (EST)
        • Well I tweeted Oliver Grigsby and he reckons she's dead, but also mentioned the fact the ice hadn't shattered. Personally, after being frozen in midair, her body temperature would drop drastically, she would get hypothermia and her heart would stop. We've not seen anyone (save claire but she doesn't count) been frozen by tracy and survived. --mc_hammark 06:12, 3 February 2010 (EST)
        • She is dead for the multiple reasons listed. She was completely encased in ice, so she can't breathe. We know that when tracy freezes someone, their entire insides of their body become frozen, so her cells will expand and burst. Like it or not, becky's dead. Gamerelite1
          • We don't know the insides are frozen, Tracy seems to have developed great control over her ability lately, so she could have just frozen the ice. I too think she's dead but there are many things that could have happened after that which we don't know about. --mc_hammark 09:03, 7 February 2010 (EST)
            • Technically, a person frozen in ice should be dead. However, remember that due to the comic book nature of the medium, GNs often portray things that would be absurd in "real life", so her death is unconfirmed.--Referos 09:38, 7 February 2010 (EST)
              • That, and even if it were shown in an episode, her death is not confirmed. Until it's confirmed, we just don't add it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:15, 7 February 2010 (EST)
