| 06/02 | Jack Coleman's Blog - The HRG Files | NEW! 1: Does anyone really die on Heroes? Yes. Nathan is dead, though through Sylar he can live on, after a fashion, and with tremendous complications.
2: Where does this leave HRG? Some have fretted that HRG is now doomed, complicit in a terrible act (the creation of Sylathan) and planning to reconstitute the Company, which condemns his soul to hell. But the title of this Volume is "Redemption." The Company will not look nor act as it has in the past. Many forces are at work to bring about changes in all our heroes, redemptive changes, one might suppose, and HRG will be profoundly affected. When we pick up our story, whatever plans HRG may have had for the new Company have been rocked by upheaval in his marriage and by terrible misgivings about having created a being that is "neither fish nor flesh." But he came to it honestly. NOTE: Full blog at link |
| 06/01 | Tim Kring | NEW! In a newsletter to the members of Heroes: All Access, Tim Kring reveals plots lines of Volume 5 for Peter, Nathan, Claire, HRG, Tracy and Angela.
We’re all very excited about the next volume of Heroes(volume 5) called “REDEMPTION.” All of our characters, in way or another, return to their normal lives after the turmoil and tragedy of “FUGITIVES.” One of the big issues we’ll be exploring is how should a person with abilities live his or her life. Should they try to assimilate by hiding their abilities, or should they live more honestly, exposing their powers to the world? Claire will be at the forefront of that issue, starting college in Washington, D.C., and trying to discover, as all college kids do, who she really is. But re-adjusting to normal life won’t be easy, especially when Claire is caught in the crossfire of her parent’s divorce and a mysterious suicide on campus. Meanwhile, Peter and Nathan are trying to get their lives back on track. Peter is trying to be a hero in the purest sense — saving on life at a time. But that means cutting himself off from friends and family. It’s only when Peter makes a romantic connection with a fascinating new “powerful” woman that he’ll find out that life means staying connected to others. Nathan is discovering new things about himself everyday, mostly due to the fact that he’s actually Sylar. Matt will have to live with the guilt of what he did to Sylar; making his attempts to live a normal life with his wife and child virtually impossible. Noah Bennet (HRG), with the help of Tracy Strauss, Angela Petrelli and all of our Heroes, is tasked with forming a new COMPANY. But that new organization won’t be concerned with conspiracies and prisons anymore. It will be about people. Finding them. Connecting to them. And figuring out why so many of them have been seduced by another “organization” out there that treats people with abilities in a fascinating, dangerous and potentially deadly new way. |

Fan Theories
- Claire will complain about not being normal, how she can't have a normal life, and become bitter toward Noah and Angela for the whole series.
- Peter's new relationship will help him reconnect with his empathy.
- Impaired hearing will be a new ability, in other terms the opposite of enhanced hearing.
- An evolved human will be captured for having too dangerous an ability, like Mary Krause.
- Ando or Hiro may have the new love interest that is hearing impaired.
- Claire will go back to trying to live a normal life, but it won't work, she will argue with HRG about denying who she really is, and they'll have a falling out, but at the end of the volume they'll make up again, ready for the next falling out/make up which will inevitably come during volume 6.
- In the Volume 5 finale, "Nathan" will realize he is Sylar. This scene will be similar to the Season 2 ending.
- "Nathan" will gradually rediscover his various abilities, including shape shifting, which leads him to realizing his true form; however, he will be unable to reverse Matt's memory tampering, so his only option will be to mimic his former self while still stuck as Nathan.
- The Nathan/Sylar struggle will be similar to Niki/Jessica in Season 1 where Nathan must control himself to protect others.
- Sylar will re-emerge at some point in Volume 5.
- Peter only has shape-shifting.
- Peter has all of Sylar's abilities.
- Volume 5 will focus on the creation of a new company that will perform a similar job to the old one but will be constantly evaded by the new villain Tracy.
- Samson Gray will find out about his son's death, but will also find out that "Nathan" is Sylar, and try to take his power.
- Peter will regain his original power somehow.
- He will do this with the help of Syn Anders, who has empathic manipulation. She will "fix" his empathy.
- There will not be a struggle between Sylar and "Nathan". Every few weeks, Matt Parkman will come and do his thing to make sure Sylar doesn't emerge again. However, at the finale, Sylar's father will come and remind him that he is Sylar.
- After getting angry of all the pressure Noah and Angela puts on him, Matt will set Sylar free, and then Sylar will kill Noah and Angela as revenge for making Matt erase his mind. Sylar and Matt will become friends, and Matt will convince Sylar to become a good guy, not by manipulating his mind but the natural way.
- "Nathan" will slowly gain control of all the powers Sylar has which will eventually bring him into the bad side. This will lead to an epic battle between Peter and Nathan/Sylar.
- The "hunger" will affect Nathan/Sylar, leading him to ability theft again.
- With Hiro still unable to use his ability without causing himself harm, Matt will attempt to help him focus his mind. While this does help Hiro, it permanently changes him. He will become stronger and more badass, he will learn sword fighting and grow out his hair (similar to his future self).
- Matt will reunite with Janice, and will stay together with her for Matt Jr..
- Peter will find out about Nathan's death, but will accept that Sylar is Nathan.
- Danko will return, but will not hunt evolved humans.
- Claire will go back to her old life and live as normal as possible.
- Matt Jr. will reboot Sylar.
- By the end of the season, Sylar will be back, but will be good. He must face off against Peter who is now evil due to intuitive aptitude.
- During flashbacks we will see Adam bringing the Company founders together and using them to achieve his own means..., this will be a lesson for the new Company founded by Angela, Noah, Peter, Claire and Sylar.
- Sylar is just pretending to be Nathan, and when he picked up the clock in the Volume 5, that was his anchor.
- He came back by using regeneration to heal his memories, like Peter did with the help of Adam in season 2.
- The new Company will hold Matt Jr. over Matt Parkman to use him for there own benefit, much like they did with Noah and Claire.
- Tracy will emerge as a prominent figure in a faction of evolved humans opposed to the new Company.
- Kimiko will display a power, possibly her mother's.
- Audrey will return on Tracy's case and once again run into Matt Parkman
- Claude will return hunting for Noah.
- Emma is the twenty something tattoo girl.
- Audrey is Matt's new partner.
- Anna is Claire's new roomate.
- Ando will supercharge Hiro, allowing him to time travel.
- The "mysterious suicide" on Claire's campus is actually a homicide. Claire will catch the killer by making herself his next target.
- Peter's new love interest is Emma.
