Unreadable words.
This is what I'm getting out of it: "MY DESTINY, YOUR DESTINY, ANDO. IS INSIDE THAT SAFE." Inverted and at a slight angle it's legible.--Riddler 06:08, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- I go tthat too a second before you posted it. not sure on the full stop after ando though. --Skywalkerrbf 06:14, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- It didn't make sense to me either, but it was a different shape than the two prior commas so I figured it was different.--Riddler 06:22, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

- I hope the screencap isn't to much of a spoiler, it's my first set of screencaps. Martijnvs 08:51, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- And a good screencap it is :) Pierre 09:50, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
Review
Not a bad novel, although it doesn't measure up to part 1... It's always nice to see events of the show tied together, though. Also, unlike some of the Season 2 additions, Daphne has every chance to become a great character. And I absolutely love Gunnell's work :D Pierre 10:28, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah, the artwork was great. I think Micah did better with this part than with part 1. The story was good too, though it's kind of apparent they are restricted by the storyline for the show. DJ Doyle is supposed to be the author of part 2, though Zach got credited.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:02, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
The ball thing
Exactly what is that ball machine on page 3? Watchmaker 12:39, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- It's supposed to be a military prototype. Kinda reminds me of the "ball machine" from Star Wars.--Citizen 12:46, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Hm... we have never learned exactly what Yamagato produces, have we? So I guess it can be anything from a toy, to some sort of military spy device, to a cooking machine... Pierre 13:07, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Didn't Hiro's blog imply that they created software? At least as a front. Therequiembellishere 13:21, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Thats' right... so it would be safe to assure that Yamagato have created the software to the toy/spy device/cooking machine/whatever.... Pierre 13:32, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- It's a prototype that that Daphne stole for Yoji. To me, it looks like a Earth-grav version of the SPHERES satellite, which is similar to the seeker remote in Star Wars (it may actually be a toy like Daphne said). BTW, in Season One they talk about Yamagato having a biotech division, along with software, so Yamagato could conceivably have other divisions such as toys or aerospace.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:35, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

Haitian and Peter
Isn't that the Haitian running after Peter in the one scene before Daphne decides to leave? --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 08/12/2008 13:23 (EST)
- Yeah. Nice tie-in, if you ask me :) Pierre 13:30, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Disagree. Peter totally lost his shirt before the Haitian started chasing him. --DocM 13:57, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Well... the creators say different... :) Pierre 14:01, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Still, his shirt was lost in a fire. --DocM 14:04, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- I think the crate deserves its own article now, since it has apeared in 3? episodes and now this. --Skywalkerrbf 14:12, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah - sounds right to me Pierre 14:14, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- how does 'i-pod crate' sound?--Skywalkerrbf 14:28, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- even better 'I-pod container' --Skywalkerrbf 14:32, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Both sounds fine to me :) Pierre 14:42, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- If we had to have an article for the crate, which I'm not particularly for or against, I think it should be called 'shipping container' or 'shipping crate'. It's better than anything with iPod in, I think. -- Friskymuffin - (talk) 15:20, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
- Both sounds fine to me :) Pierre 14:42, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
Hold on to your misprints!
Thank goodness I did! Between the misprints we have two corrections made: the writer one that we are already aware of, plus the speech bubble from the survalence feed. the misprint had scratched English, the corrected issue had the feed in Japanese. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 01:06, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
- Nice spot. FWIW, the change to Japanese text was also done in the August 13th release. I didn't notice it, though, until you mentioned it and showed it here, then I went back and checked if it the change was in the PDF I downloaded on August 13th.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:07, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
Clothes
Cor, I hope her clothes are that skimpy in the show :P
