"Poor vision" is the term used to describe the ability to observe other people, places, and objects in a vague, blurry way.
Characters
Tim Thomason is quite a character. And he has this ability.
Limits
Those with this "ability" have trouble observing objects the way normal, unevolved humans do.
The ability is always active and unable to turn off, unfortunately. It is unknown if the Haitian can block this power's use, although Tim is wanting to find out. If only to get Jimmy Jean-Louis's autograph.

People with "poor vision" can't always read what the heck Hiro and Ando are saying. Unless they have Tivo like me and get up really close to the TV. Which is probably the root cause. It's a vicious circle. -
I know something interesting is going on when they mention "Kensei Takezo."
Notes
- Tim has been told this is simply farsightedness or hyperopia, however these terms have not been used "in canon."
- This ability is probably related to the reason that Tim is right-handed but left-eye dominant, unlike most other righthanders.
