Ryan Alosio, born 1978, is an American actor who holds dual citizenship in both Ireland and the U.S. The son of an Irish mother and an Italian father, Alosio spent 11 years in various boarding schools, including 3 years in military academy. He graduated with honors from the Interlochen Arts Academy. Ryan also attended Northwestern University in Chicago, and New York University where he studied dramatic writing in the Tisch School of the Arts. Alosio has appeared in over 23 television shows and 19 films. He has worked with such noted actors as Gary Sinise, Laura Dern, Jason Alexander, Patrick Dempsey, Matthew Fox, Mickey Rooney, Jane Seymour, Tony Shalhoub, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Tess Harper. Alosio received the Austin Film Festival's, "Audience Award" for "Favorite New Actor" for his lead role in The Hi-Line which was also selected for, and premiered in the main competition at the Sundance Film Festival. Alosio has played roles in numerous theatrical stage productions including such classics as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Waiting For Godot, The Crucible and Chicago. Alosio is also a published writer and an accomplished painter and photographer. He has been featured in numerous gallery showings and printed in such noted publications as, Random House's, "Modern Americana", Modernism Magazine, "The Times Magazine and Marie Claire Magazine. Alosio was the lead singer/song-writer of the rock band, "Black Radio" which performed in such noted venues as The Viper Room, and The Hard Rock. He has also custom built numerous show winning motorcycles and hot-rod cars. Alosio currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
