Revision as of 04:19, 7 December 2007

Timelines

  • Universe A : Time travel to the past has never occurred (Genesis)
    • 13.5 BYA - October 1, 2006
  • Universe B : Hiro-A has travelled one minute into the past. He then travels to the future, disappearing for five weeks. (Genesis - Don't Look Back)
    • October 1, 2006 - November 8, 2006
  • Universe C : Hiro-A travels five weeks into the past. With his knowledge of what is to come, he convinces his friend Ando-C of his powers and they go on "vacation" to stop the explosion. Eventually he fails in his mission (Sylar regenerates) and comes up with the plan to "save the cheerleader, save the world." (Don't Look Back - Collision)
    • October 1, 2006 - November 8, 2011
  • Universe D : Hiro-D (affected by Hiro-A) continues on his journey with Ando, and is affected by Peter-D's phone call, revealing Hiro-A and his new mission. He's deeply effected by Charlie-D's death, and attempts to stop it. (Collision - Seven Minutes to Midnight)
    • October 4, 2006 - October 10, 2006
  • Universe E : Hiro-D hangs out with Charlie-E in the past until she gives him bad news. He accidentally talks to his past self (Hiro-A turned Hiro-E) and changes Charlie-E's life around, until he accidentally travels to present-day Japan. He then meets up with Ando-E, and continues his journey. (Seven Minutes to Midnight - Unexpected)
    • April 24, 2006 - late October 2006
  • Universe F : Hiro-D reverses time to stop himself from being shot. He apparently somehow travels to the future. (Unexpected - Parasite)
    • late October 2006 - November 8, 2011
  • Universe G : Hiro-D and Hiro-A both arrive back in the future (apparently taking the place of a Hiro-F) and, although the cheerleader was saved, it is still very similar to Universe C. (Parasite - Five Years Gone)
    • November 8, 2011 - November 8, 2011
  • Universe H : Hiro-D arrives back to 2006 and vows to stop the explosion, again. He succeeds in stabbing Sylar-H and preventing the explosion. (Five Years Gone - How to Stop an Exploding Man)
    • November 6, 2006 - November 8, 2006
  • Universe I : Hiro-D arrives in ancient Japan and starts hanging out with Kensei/Monroe-I. He also writes some scrolls for Ando-I and more than likely changes history alot. Hiro eventually makes Kensei-I evil and travels to March 2007 for some reason. Peter-I and Caitlin-I travel a year in the future right before the Shanti virus becomes widespread and kills billions upon billions of people. (How to Stop an Exploding Man - Out of Time)
    • 1671 - Post-June 2008
  • Universe J : Peter-I travels back to March 2007, leaving Caitlin-I in the future. He meets up with Kensei/Monroe-J. (Out of Time - Cautionary Tales)
    • March 2007
  • Universe K: Hiro-K (affected, per chaos theory, by Peter-I) travels back a week to his father's death. He then decides to teach his father a lesson in selfishness, and Hiro-K and Kaito-K travel back 17 years. (Cautionary Tales)
    • March 2007
  • Universe L: Hiro-K and Kaito-K arrive in 1990 at Ishi-I (now Ishi-L)'s funeral. They hang out and pay their respects before traveling back to Kaito's death. Hiro-K also gave a stern talking to to Hiro-L that he must have forgotten for sanity's sake and found out that Kaito-K was killed by Adam-L.
    • March 2007 - Present (March 2007)

The Symbol theory

The Symbol was the combination of the words for "godsend" and was likely included on Takezo Kensei's sword when it was given to him by the swordsmith. Kensei would adopt the symbol over the coming years and it would be immortalized as his crest. After his betrayal by Hiro Nakamura, Kensei (later Monroe) would adopt it in secret to symbolize his involvement in various activities over the centuries.

When forming the Group of 12, and consequently the Company, Monroe used the symbol to represent it's, and related agencies (Arthur Petrelli's law firm), activities. It was only recognized to the public at-large as a representation of Kensei. The Haitian wore the symbol based on his activities with Monroe, along with Peter and Jessica.

Isaac Mendez and Peter Petrelli drew the symbol on many of their works precognitively as a boding of the events to come, relating to Monroe. Some of these Symbol drawings would catch on amongst comic book fans in New York, and a couple were known to play with their food and shape it this way.

The Bennets' home was decorated with Symbol-like design patterns on the windows, indicating it was a Company-bought and protected home. Claire saw these symbols and would occassionally copy it on some of her textbooks for fun.

Chandra Suresh was unknowingly funded by the Company, and adopted the symbol for his works. He included it on the cover of Activating Evolution, and would often include it in little drawings on his notes. He would go so far as to hide a symbol-like shape in his own encryptions as a sort-of "signature," and buy vaguely Symbol-shaped items to decorate his place.

Sylar was familiar with the Symbol from his work with Suresh. He would draw symbols on the pictures of his next intended victims in his apartment. He also occassionally used his telekinesis to make little Symbol shapes while stalking his next victims. He got so used to it, that his TK did it apparently unconsciously.

Linderman would occassionally place the Symbol on little things (like buses) to hint to the Hawkins-Sanders that they were being and couldn't get too far, but they never caught on. Given the Symbol's connection to Jessica Sanders, Linderman easily equated the connection.

Monroe would draw the Group of 12 symbol on his "death threats," per previous Group of 12 policy (a warning to dangerous evolved humans). The Symbol between the eyes associated with the death threats scared Maury Parkman so much, that he sent out the basic fear of it telepathically to Molly Walker.

Have not included graphic novel, Evolutions, and so on, information. Just episodes so far.

Truth & Consequences
Telepathy Peter drinking water (that's Matt behind him, face out of camera). Matt attempted to use his power on him, with negative results. This site should have better images of it.
Fallout
I know, same picture. But Peter uses telepathy at the same time as Matt. Plus he enjoys this amazing Arrowhead Bottled Water (R), which is arguably more amazing.
Fallout
Peter reads minds, sans Matt in this ep. At some point. I guess.
Distractions
I wish I could read Joanna Cassidy's mind. Come to think of it, I don't wish that on anyone.
Truth & Consequences
Invisibility I know you and I can see him, and Peter can, but trust me, he's invisible. Hence why Peter is invisible while doing it. You're not invisible. Probably.
Godsend
Inviso-Fight! See it! Because I don't. Which is how it should be.
Godsend
The perfect hiding spot. As long as he remembers to move afterwards.
Unexpected
Aww... man. I hated Predator 2.
Four Months Ago...
Telekinesis Sylar plays a game of "catch the locker" with Peter. He doesn't know how to play yet.

How to Stop an Exploding Man
The massive nuclear explosion over New York that no one noticed (except for Richard Drucker).

How to Stop an Exploding Man
Lightning Elle greets Peter the only way she knows how.
Four Months Ago...
first used out of presence Peter hits some guy he could barely see with lightning. Glad it some thug and not a kid.
Four Months Later...
I can't put a joke here. It'll be gone by Monday.
Truth & Consequences
Phasing D.L. in Kirby Plaza shortly after phasing out of the building with a few people. That and his bullet wounds makes him a tough guy.
How to Stop an Exploding Man
first used out of presence Peter uses phasing for the first time. Nothing like a jailbreak to hone one's unused powers.
Four Months Ago...
Peter uses phasing for the apparently first time. As far as he, and us at the time, know.
Lizards
Enhanced speed In an alternate 2007, Peter witnesses a very quick agent.
Walls, Part 1
He later chases after her.
Walls, Part 2
Future Peter never used it out of presence Only used by a future version of Peter that one time.
Walls, Part 2
