Peter was found by Irish criminals shackled inside a cargo container. Peter, unable to remember, must re-discover his powers. He has a love interest in Caitlin, the sister of Ricky, the leader of the criminal gang. Ricky offers to trade him information about his past in exchange for help with a theft job. |

Maya and Alejandro are struggling to get across the border unseen. A woman named Nidia assists them, but during the night, the border police are hot on their trail. Alejandro lets his sister go ahead of him with Nidia, but she grows frightened for his safety and attempts to go back through the storm pipe to help him. However, when Nidia tries to stop her, she's aghast at what she sees; Maya's eyes are completely black with waxy tears streaked down her face. The woman chokes and falls over dead. As Alejandro catches up, he comforts his sister and tells her everything will be alright. By grabbing her hands, his eyes glow white and in moments, Nidia is revived and Maya's eyes turn normal again. Relieved at seeing Nidia alive, the two siblings embrace. Nidia however, believes both of the twins are cursed. |

Hiro’s father is killed by being thrown off a rooftop by a stranger who jumps off the roof with him, but disappears before they hit the ground. Parkman interviews Mrs. Petrelli but is stonewalled until she is attacked in a locked police interrogation room by an unseen force. |

Hiro travels back in time and impersonates his hero, Kensei, and using his power to stop time he disarms 11 bandits. Hiro falls in love with the swordsmith’s daughter but steps aside so his hero Kensei can fulfill his destiny. Kensei appears to be killed by the vengeful bandits, but heals his wounds, just like Claire. |

Claire, meanwhile, worries about her potential. She attempts to cut off her toe to see if it will grow back, it does, but she is seen by her mysterious schoolmate who can fly. She tries to pursue him only to find him gone and Chandra Suresh's book sitting on her driveway. The episode ends with her dog, Mr. Muggles, barking at the sky. |
