Character History

Truth & Consequences

Monica breaks into the gang members' house in an attempt to retrieve Micah's comic book and D.L.'s medal of valor. When the gang members arrive, they find Monica and pull guns on her, then drag her to their van, beating her unconscious.

Powerless

Hype seems to be the only one present when Monica is tied up in an abandoned building. He taunts Monica for trying to be a hero, telling her that in the real world, heroes die. He soaks the floor in gasoline and lights it using Micah's St. Joan comic book. He leaves the building in his red van, but is intercepted by Niki, who punches him out and takes his gun.

Trivia

  • Hype drives a red Ford van with Louisiana license plate "HJK619H".
