About
Born in India, but raised in the US, Kavi is a New Yorker who fell in love with the California sunshine. She has been in L.A. for just over one year, most recently guest starring as Mira Shenoy, Mohinder's ex, on Heroes. Earlier this year she appeared in Las Vegas, and in two features to be released in 2007; Mr. Woodcock (with Billy Bob Thornton and Susan Sarandon) and as a principal actress in Karma Calling directed by Sarba Das. You can also hear Kavi's voice as the narrator on the soon-to-be-released documentary Searching For Answers, by Sarem Yadegari. As well, you can see her in two national commercials for Chevrolet with her daughter Leela.
