Paula Newsome is the American stage, film, and television actress who portrays Dr. Withers.

Paula has appeared in number of television roles in a medical role, from "Law & Order" and "Chicago Hope" to more recently "ER" and "CSI". In 2003, she had a recurring role as "Kathy Wolf" on the series "The Lyon's Den", which was cancelled at the half-season mark. Recently, she appeared as the 'bereavement liaison' "Linda" in the hit independent film Little Miss Sunshine.
