Ryan's appearances in film and television include, Ghost Whisperer, Without a Trace, Pink Eye, Bones, Sons & Daughters, The Hi-Line, and Monk. For his lead role in The Hi-Line, Ryan received the Austin Film Festival's Audience Award for "Favorite New Actor". This performance was also selected for the main competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
