Is a separate page for the assignment tracker cool with everybody? I don't really think it's necessary, but I'm not opposed to it. If it stays, it needs some editing, and so does primatechpaper.com. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:26, 10 June 2008 (EDT)

  • I've always thought that the Assignment Tracker needed its own page and we should not include all the information on the primatechpaper.com page (maybe just a link to this new page). This Assignment Tracker page should also include the Tracker 1.0, in my opinion. However, I know that data transfer and clean up is a lot of work, but I would like to see the primatechpaper.com website cleaned up and I think (possibly) moving the Assignment Tracker information to its own page is a good step in that direction. Again, just my thoughts.-- Heroes360 19:34, 10 June 2008 (EDT)
    • I agree with a separate page for it. It doesn't look like the Company will be getting shutdown anytime soon, so the tracker looks to be getting larger and larger. Thus, a separate page would help with readability.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:04, 10 June 2008 (EDT)
      • That's cool. I'll get to work on fixing it up. The idea of its own page is growing on me. If there's a strong opposition to it (which there doesn't appear to be), we can always revert. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:59, 10 June 2008 (EDT)

Unique Ability

Is this section of each profile new? I haven't noticed it before, it puts the ability in huge letters. It looks like HW has influenced a power name, with Sylar's "Intuitive Aptitude."

If it's not new, ignore this post. Otherwise, here's the list: Leonard Cushing: Acid Secretion Richard Drucker: Electronic Communication Hana Gitelman: Digital Communication Julien Dumont: Cloning (ugh.) Donna Dunlap: Telescopic Vision (even though we can argue it) Gabriel Gray: Intuitive Aptitude Connie Logan: Appearance Alteration Matt Neuenberg: Enhanced Memory Matt Parkman: Telepathy Ted Sprague: Induced Radioactivity --Riddler 20:27, 11 June 2008 (EDT)

  • Just noticed alot of the powers have already been adjusted. Ignore me. =]--Riddler 20:28, 11 June 2008 (EDT)

The German

Magnetism

It looks like he may be an upcoming character for a graphic novel, but there's not really much information about him in his profile. Just in case the profile disappears, I'm listing what's there. According to the profile, the German is a man born in Munich, Germany, 180 lbs., fair and medium build, 6'0 ft tall with Blonde hair, Caucasian, and was last seen in New York, NY. Regarding his ability, its diagram is to the right. It's called "magnetism" and defined as the "manipulation of ferrous objects and materials." Pretty much everything else: password, personal history and psych profile are missing so I've listed the ability as unconfirmed for now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:01, 18 June 2008 (EDT)

  • Indeed peculiar that that's all the info on The German. It may sound silly, but you think that that person was hacked in, like a player or troll has put that in and not TPTB? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:58, 18 June 2008 (EDT)
    • Cause of the lack of password, my original thought was that evs had hacked in and disabled the security. Though possible, I doubt that a non-Heroes-related person cracked the tracker website and added it. The presence of an ability diagram (and other diagrams we don't normally document) tends to suggest otherwise. Imho, the entry was probably just added recently without remembering to initially add the password security to it. That was later corrected, but we still have access via the direct link. Joe is probably waiting for extra info. to come from the writer of next week's graphic novel so he can add it in.--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:10, 18 June 2008 (EDT)
      • Very mysterious indeed... I'm guessing he was added with minimal information to be introduced in a GN sometime soon, but it's anyones guess. Good to see they're still introducing new powers though. -- Friskymuffin - (talk) 05:00, 18 June 2008 (EDT)

The new map.

Should the map get it's own page, or a larger section? You have the option to turn off "Tips" which shows just Agent Assignments and Verified Tips. These ones would be legitimate, since they ARE assignments and ARE verified. I'm typing up a list of which are which now. --Riddler 06:21, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

  • I think we should just list a list of new stuff we learn from the map. (There are quite a lot of new content there) Chrisyu357 06:33, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
    • I just found this one, under Agent Assignments:

Paul Harding Location: Washington, DC Reported Sightings: Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA; Berlin, Germany Notes: Paul Harding is an evolved human agent with the ability to manipulate the hair on his body.

...Really?--Riddler 06:44, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

  • Before I waste my time typing the rest, I've already done all of NY, WV, and DC, should we make a page that included everything in the above format?--Riddler 06:46, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
    • I have a list of all the original and some of the new ones here: User:Level/Map. -Lөvөl 11:12, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
      • Ah, then I did type alot for nothing. Guess I shoulda researched. =P --Riddler 11:24, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
        • Riddler, when I got to Paul, I thought the exact same thing. Therequiembellishere 13:24, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
          • Its a great list, and imo should be included as a proper article, rather than a userpage sub-article. Too save others from working in vain :) Pierre 13:27, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
  • Green and blue tips no longer contain legitimate information. Evs said some of his fake tips got promoted to "confirmed" status, which means that the new tips (guy who senses abilities, for example) are not reliable.--Referos 15:23, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
  • Blue are still real, they are Company agents --Carl Jung
    • Read evsdropr's message again, Referos. Evs doesn't say the fake tips were promoted to "confirmed". Evs says that some of the tips were promoted to investigation status (meaning agents were assigned to check them out).--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:54, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
      • You're right, my mistake! So I suppose these new and strange powers like...hair manipulation are legitimate.--Referos 16:47, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
  • I think the green tips with a 'tip origin' are also real, because we can't include them --Carl Jung

Map page

I've started a page for all the verified tips and assignments here. If anyone wants to help add ones it'd really be apperciated. I'm not sure whether or not to go live with it before it's done, so I'm keeping it on a userpage for now.--Piemanmoo 20:34, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

Nice :) Just be aware that other users already has done this (User:Level/Map and User:Riddler/AT2.0). I do think that it should be put up on a regular page. Pierre 20:40, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

why can't I log in?

When I tried to enter the Assignment Tracker 2.0 for the first and then entered Username: bennet, Password: claire. I get "You are cleared to acces marked files only." "Select marked link on the left to review".

But when I then go to one of the marked files like _A012 I get the log in screen again!

  • You have to log in with the password "claire" to get to the assignment tracker (or you can just go there), and then "log in" again with the password for the file you want. - Josh (talk/contribs) 14:33, 20 October 2008 (EDT)

Neuenberg?

I can't seem to open up Matt Neuenberg's file using the password here. I can get into other files, so I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end or with the AT. Can anyone else access file C025? --Tim Thomason 00:43, 14 November 2008

C013

It's accessible, but we don't have a password, do we? I can't find anything in the novels.--Riddler 19:58, 13 November 2008 (EST)

How do we know...?

On the AT page at this site is says that other files are unaccessible (Peter's, Merediths, etc.) and it says what their profiles are even though there are no passwords for them. How do we know what their profiles are? For instance, where does it say on Flint's tracker page that Meredith's is C018? I looked around and was just curious, because I couldn't see it anywhere. -- FlamingTomDude 21:57, 18 November 2008 (EST)

  • If you view the image of Meredith, it says her case number in the address. Specifically, see this image. The image is named "at_C018Thumb.jpg" -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:27, 18 November 2008 (EST)
    • You know, I've never noticed that before! -- FlamingTomDude 2:18, 21 November 2008 (EST)
      • It's all in the details, man. It's all in the details. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:05, 21 November 2008 (EST)]]

I can't hack but...

I can show you some of Elle's AT information. Her main picture was uploaded and this is her diagram:

  • Thanks, Cael. Please remember to add your signature.--MiamiVolts (talk) 11:41, 26 November 2008 (EST)
    • Just remembered to do that when I got an edit conflict. lol. Thanks for adding it for me. -- Cael 11:42, 26 November 2008 (EST)
      • Do you have the URL of the diagram? I trust you, but I almost feel like that based on that image, someone made the diagram.--Riddler 12:29, 26 November 2008 (EST)
        • Ignore me. here is her cranial imaging.--Riddler 12:32, 26 November 2008 (EST)
  • Ok, the password will start with "EB" then have either 2 or 3 lowercase letters, then two digits, then either 2 or 3 lowercase letters. Unfortunately, because the password could have between 8 and 10 characters, its nearly impossible to get concrete results from any random generators and such. --TraverseTown 21:52, 26 November 2008 (EST) (EST)
  • We'll probably get the password in the next GN. I say we just wait and see instead of trying to guess with random numbers. -- FlamingTomDude 19:03, 28 November 2008 (EST)
  • Normally I'd agree, but they specificaly asked us to try and hack this one. We could probably do it, too. Every time evsdropr posted a new puzzle it was solved pretty quickly. Since we know it will begin with EB, maybe we can try and figure out a pattern to the other passwords and figure out what the rest of the characters in the code are.--Piemanmoo 20:04, 28 November 2008 (EST)
    • I know I asked somebody awhile ago (was it Ollie Grigsby? Joe Tolerico? I forget who.) what all the "other" letters and numbers in the passwords meant. If I recall correctly, the response was that the first two letters are the subject's initials (we know that already), and the rest is just random, though it always follows the pattern of letters, two numbers, then letters. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:13, 28 November 2008 (EST)
      • At one point I tried to see if there was a pattern in the passwords but never came up with anything (both Richard Drucker's (unless it's in roman numerals) and Jesse Murphy's (which has 3 numbers) passwords break the aforementioned pattern). I'm not sure it's random though. Richard Drucker's is the same as Hana's, except it replaces 11 with ii. For Elle, I tried adding parts to the URL (gotten from other AT's), but couldn't get anything new either. --Stevehim 20:42, 28 November 2008 (EST)
      • If one of us managed to write a script that tried all possible combinations automaticaly, then several of us could run it starting at different intervals until we reached the code. Miamivolts wrote most of the site's wikicode, so he might be a good choice off the top of my head.--Piemanmoo 21:26, 28 November 2008 (EST)
        • Could the password be in the script for her profile? That is if someone can get into it. Also, for Flint's tracker they asked if we could hack it but they gave us the password anyway (the same applied for Meredith's if I recall). It almost seems like they forgot to give us a password for Elle's when they added it to their site. -- FlamingTomDude
        • Thanks, Piemanmoo, but that honor doesn't belong solely to me. There have been many other contributors, and former administrator Hardvice ranks high among them in my mind. That said, there are a lot of potential passwords and I don't think I have equipment sufficient for writing and executing a program to try them all atm. It takes a long time on fast computers and mine is rather slow. Also, I really don't like encouraging people to learn how to crack passwords; but if someone wants to try, check out Hydra as that's a good program for brute force testing, which is what is needed in this case. It is normally used by security consultants to test system vulnerability to hacking. Most systems defeat this form of hacking by blocking out users for a specified amount of time after a certain amount of failed password tries; whether or not the AT2.0 has this protection, I'm not sure.
FlamingTomDude, if we knew what the name of the file was that contained her profile, we could probably just try and access that.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:08, 28 November 2008 (EST)
      • Well we know it's C023, but I guess that doesn't help. -- FlamingTomDude 22:39, 28 November 2008 (EST)

W vs F

I'm wondering who writes the Assignment Trackers, because on Meredith's under 'gender' it has a 'W' (presumably for woman) instead of an 'F' for female. On Donna's and Hana's it has an 'F'. Do you think this will be somethign they'll correct (I know it's minor but it seems less official). I also hope they update the old files (namely Sylar's) with new information. Clearly Sylar's ability has evolved, so they should put that in his tracker. -- FlamingTomDude

It'd be kind of weird to correct Sylar's files, since he's no longer in the custody of the Company; he's at Pinehearst. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 19:09, 28 November 2008 (EST)
The producers could add a section for Pinehearst files at pinehearstresearch.com.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:21, 28 November 2008 (EST)

That could change, but I don't know how to black-out spoilers so I'm not going to say anything. --FlamingTomDude

Files we haven't got

I just counted and there's 2 accessible files we haven't got. Any idea whose they are? I think one is Samedi since someone put assignment tracker info on his page, but the other I have no idea. Can we hack them at all? *coughMiamicough* ShadeSlayer 15:41, 3 December 2008 (EST)

Samedi's is C010 if I'm not mistaken. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:13, 3 December 2008 (EST)

C021 is the only one left after Samedi unless they decide to change/remove C007 (Charlie) or C016 (Peter). Then we have the A0XX files and who knows...they might make B0XX files. -- Cael 16:19, 3 December 2008 (EST)

  • Yeah I've found myself wondering if they'll release those trackers. I can see them releasing Peter's or Maury's (Maury was a Level 5 escapee and a founder, Peter was in Company custody for four months). Charlie just seems so insignificent now, though. If they do decide to drop one, it should be hers. Neuenburg's doesn't even work anymore anyway, so technically anyone who only first accessed the tracker now in the present wouldn't know about Charlie's. Additionally, they can always add more files for C0XX if they want to, or make AT 3.0 --FlamingTomDude 23:29, 3 December 2008 (EST)

Samedi's Password Ideas?

Does Anyone have ideas of what the password is for baron samedi?.maybe we can work together and test them out.? Gabriel Bishop 11:02, 6 December 2008 (EST) Gabriel Bishop

  • "BS" followed by random letters and numbers. Someone once suggested making a program to try cracking those by brute force, but I think it'd be too complex. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:09, 6 December 2008 (EST)
    • Agreed. Brute force is probably too tough to accompish. I would suggest looking for patterns or similarities in the passwords, in case they aren't random. I've looked a little, but can only find curiosities (eg - Hana and Richard have very similar passwords, and powers, though Echo and Jesse don't; Parkman's password contains 'gg' which could stand for 'Greg Grunberg,' but tyhat doesn't apply to most of the others, etc). --Stevehim 12:21, 6 December 2008 (EST)
      • ive been trying to see if the patterns are acronyms. what do you think ?Gabriel Bishop 13:53, 6 December 2008 (EST) Gsbriel Bishop
        • Might not even be BS. It is an alias, afterall. I mean, likely they'll use it, but there's a chance there isn't. Guessing this one will be futile, wait 'til Monday =p--Riddler 14:11, 6 December 2008 (EST)
          • The image we got says "Samedi's skin", if they refer to him by his alias, there's a good chance the password starts with the alias' initials, that's what happened with the German. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:37, 6 December 2008 (EST)

Can't see assignment tracker?

Does anyone know why I can't see assignment trackers? I use mozilla firefox but ive tried internet explorer and it deosnt work on either... If anyone could help that would be gr8 :) - Mike 21:04, 6 December 2008 (EST)

  • Can you not see the AT at all? Or is it just a problem with the passwords? Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 21:05, 6 December 2008 (EST)
    • Well I can see it but theres nothing filled in and its blank. It says somethin like "You are cleared to access marked files only. Select marked file on the left to review." when i click the link or enter the password - Mike 21:12, 6 December 2008 (EST)
      • If you're trying to access Matt Neuenberg's file, don't bother. That one doesn't work for some reason. But all other files should. Try typing in the passwords manually instead of copy/pasting them if that's what you're doing. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 21:17, 6 December 2008 (EST)
