Notes
- In reality, KVAV (Channel 5) does not exist anywhere in the United States, as confirmed by the FCC's Universal Licensing System. The FCC manages the assignment of television station call signs in the United States. Call signs beginning with K are reserved for stations west of the Mississippi River, and fictional call signs are routinely used in television series to avoid confusion with existing news stations.
Trivia
- In reality, Angela Bromstad is the name of the president of NBC Universal Television Studio. One of her subordinates is the real life Laura Lancaster.
