One Giant Leap

On a rainy night, Isaac looks through his sketchbook. One particular sketch in his book shows Peter and Simone kissing underneath a red umbrella in the rain.

Collision

Isaac shows Simone the sketch of her and Peter underneath her umbrella. He asks her what she did the prior night in the rain. When Simone accuses him of following her, Isaac tells her that he sketched it seven weeks before.

Nothing to Hide

When Peter and Simone arrive at Isaac's apartment, Isaac and his paintings are nowhere to be found. His sketchbook is still there and Simone shows Peter a sketch that Isaac made of Charles Deveaux for his seventieth birthday.

Seven Minutes to Midnight

Isaac sits on his bed at Primatech Paper Co. and sketches in his book.

Fallout

At his room at Primatech, Eden is glad to see Isaac sketching in his book. Later at the Burnt Toast Diner, Isaac shows Hiro and Ando many of his prophetic sketches for an unfinished issue of 9th Wonders!

Parasite

At his loft, Isaac flips through his sketchbook and looks at the sketch of Peter and Simone kissing. Frustrated and angry, Isaac drops the book and turns to heroin.

Isaac gives the final version of the last issue of 9th Wonders! to a courier to be published. Isaac also gives him the sketchbook, telling him that one day it might be worth something.

The Eclipse, Part 2

After reading the final 9th Wonders! at Sam's Comics in Lawrence, Kansas, Sam reveals that according to a legend he heard, there is one final story in Isaac's sketchbook that was given to a courier. Matt, Daphne, and Ando decide to look for it, hoping it will show them what to do next.

Our Father

Once they get the sketchbook from the dispatcher at Ditko, the courier company the bike messenger worked for, Daphne, Matt, and Ando see that Hiro is lost in time. This story may have been unfinished as nothing else of the story was shown and Daphne, Matt and Ando had to figure out what to do without seeming to have a story to help.

In the Quarry, Cassandra Hays finds a copy of Isaac's sketchbook. Inside are drawings of Cheerleader on the Staircase and Hiro and the Dinosaur.

Trivia

• In a message board post, artist Tim Sale said that the sketchbooks seen on Heroes were made by the prop department. Most of Tim's drawings were scanned separately, though some were drawn directly on the same paper.
