Malina is a bold and ethereal teenager who comes from a sheltered upbringing with the ability to control all of the elements. She has been told she is destined for greatness. Malina has spent the past two years of her life in the Arctic, training to use her power.

Malina is shown in just one scene of the pilot episode. She is shown controlling the Northern Lights. As she controls them, she alludes to what catastrophe is coming and that she cannot control it much longer.
