Project Reborn

Richard announces that they are ready for transport now that Tommy is trapped in Evernow and broadcasts a pre-recorded message to the residents of Gateway on Erica's order. Once the broadcast is over and shortly before the first solar flare of the H.E.L.E. would hit, Richard activates the space-time bridge after which they wonder if it worked. Emerging outside, Richard and Erica see that they successfully transported everyone to the future.

After Ren and Emily free the trapped evos, Richard finds them and reactivates the stasis pods. Richard holds Ren, Emily and the real Miko Otomo at gunpoint, reporting that he has turned the pods back on. However, he is stabbed from behind and killed by Hachiro Otomo who tells Richard he will not allow him to use Hachiro's creations for evil again.
