Synopsis

Danko is shaving his face when his alarm goes off. It says his front door is open, so he wipes his face, grabs his gun and goes to investigate. He shuts his front door and turns around to search his apartment. Hanging in front of a window is Eric Doyle. He's hanging like a puppet on strings with a curtain around him and a big bow and gift tag attached. The gift tag says "My Gift To You". Eric Doyle gasps, but doesn't wake up.
HRG finds Angela's limo sitting in traffic in NYC. It's pouring rain. Angela tells him they shouldn't talk anymore because it's getting too dangerous to risk him being seen with her. HRG says he's touched or he would be if he believed she actually cared about his safety. Angela says what she believes is HRG is distracted. He didn't pack his umbrella on a cloudy day and he has razor cuts all over his face because he used a dull razor. She says that family is a horrible price to pay for what they're trying to do. She realizes the irony of alienating her sons to save them. HRG says he's sure Nathan will forgive her, but Angela says she knows Peter won't. He said his goodbyes.
Angela points out that now Danko has thrown Nathan off a building and seen him fly away, it's all up to HRG. He has to give Danko a reason to trust him; he should turn in one of them. She says if she were a better woman, she'd tell him to turn her in. HRG asks, "what makes you so sure I haven't?" Angela replies he needs a bigger catch. She tells him to give Danko Rebel and Danko will be HRG's best friend. HRG points out Angela may need Rebel's services soon, but Angela says she's resourceful and will find ways to survive without Rebel. She tells HRG she plans on leaving the city that night and reminds him he only has fifteen minutes to catch the next train to DC. She gives him her umbrella and says "don't say I never did anything for you". He tells her not to go home and says "don't say I never did anything for you" and leaves.
Danko enters a room marked "Human Resources" that is full of people on surgical tables with IV bags going to their noses. Mohinder comes in the room and asks Danko "What is this?". Danko replies that it's "an effective way of stopping any of you from hurting any of us". Mohinder asks why he doesn't do it the old fashioned way and dig a ditch. Danko calls it gun control, everyone in the room is 'armed and dangerous' including Mohinder. Mohinder sees Daphne and asks why she's been moved from the medical facility. Danko says there was the American taxpayer to consider. Mohinder starts examining her and says she needs to get to the hospital right away. He asks to speak to Nathan and Danko tells him that Nathan flew away. Mohinder says he can't do anything to help Daphne here, she needs to go to the emergency room. Danko says he doesn't want Mohinder to help her. He brought Mohinder to this room so he wouldn't have to carry him. An operative shocks Mohinder and Danko says to hook him up to an IV and prepare a bed for Tracy.
Tracy is in her room with the heat lamps. She struggles a second, then she manages to blow out a puff of frost.
Danko and HRG enter the room with all the people on the tables. Danko tells HRG he brought him a present. HRG asks if that was the same line he used on Mohinder to get him to come in. Danko points out with the recent management changes it's really important that they get along. He brings HRG to Doyle's bed and says, "Happy whatever". He knows what Doyle did to Meredith and Claire and thought HRG might like to see the puppet-master strung up. HRG asks to return the favor and bring in Rebel. He suggests letting Rebel save Tracy Strauss. Using her as bait, they could capture Rebel. Danko doesn't like the plan at first, pointing out that Tracy is a killer. HRG promises to kill Tracy himself if the plan goes wrong and chalk it up to self-defense. Danko agrees.
Hiro and Ando are with baby Matt Parkman. Hiro thinks that baby Matt Parkman is actually Matt Parkman who has been turned into a baby. Ando asks how Matt Parkman could be a baby. Hiro says on "Star Trek" it was a transporter accident. Ando finds a photograph of Janice and Matt and says that maybe the baby isn't Matt Parkman, but Matt Parkman's baby. Hiro says he didn't know Matt Parkman had a baby and Ando wonders if Matt Parkman knew he had a baby. Hiro grows upset because they were supposed to save Matt Parkman, not his baby. The baby turns on the tv where Matt Parkman is shown on the news with the bomb strapped to his chest, but Hiro and Ando don't notice. Ando says Rebel wanted them to save a Matt Parkman at this address and there's only one Matt Parkman at this address and then turns of the TV with the remote.
Ando thinks Hiro is afraid of the baby. Hiro says that's the stupidest thing he's ever heard. Ando asks if it's because of their baby razor sharp fingernails? Hiro points out that heroes change the world, not diapers. The baby turns the TV on again. Hiro says, "bad baby! No television for you!" This time, Ando unplugs it and tells Hiro that he should be cold daddy and Ando will be warm mommy. Hiro asks warm mommy what they're saving the baby from, lead-based toys? Baby Matt then turns the TV on again, even though it's unplugged. They realize the baby has a power and that the government will be after the baby.
Back in NYC, Angela is still stuck in traffic. She asks the driver why they've stopped and before he can answer, someone reaches in and grabs him and then they reach in for her. Angela wakes up with a start, but it was just a dream. She tells the driver not to stop the car, but as the driver says that the traffic stopped and there's construction, he's grabbed. Angela's dream prepared her and she slips out of the car while they subdue the driver. It's still raining and she links arms with a strange man and asks if she could share his umbrella. She manages to escape Danko's team of plain clothed men.
HRG hangs up the phone in Building 26. He tells Danko that the team lost Angela Petrelli. Danko believes someone tipped her, but HRG points out that Angela can see things coming. HRG says she's on the island of Manhattan and has a cell phone. They'll be able to track her.
Suddenly, Rebel shuts down building 26. Power, computers, everything has gone black or has been disabled. The emergency lights come on and HRG says "Rebel, Rebel.
In Tracy's cell, the heating lamps turn off and her door unlocks. She freezes he restraints and leaves the cell. Rebel uses the security cameras to guide Tracy to the room with all the captives. Tracy frees Mohinder and Matt Parkman who immediately asks for Daphne. He finds her and Mohinder tells them she needs to go to the hospital. Tracy says Daphne will only slow them down, to leave her. When Matt and Mohinder refuse, she takes off without them. Rebel points Tracy to the door, but doesn't open it. There are agents on the other side. They burst into the hall and see Tracy, but Matt, Mohinder and Daphne come up behind her. Matt tells the agents that it's all clear and they only see an empty hallway and run past them. Tracy asks if they just walk out the front door. Matt says, "yeah, aren't you glad you waited for us?" Tracy says when they get out, she's not waiting for anyone.
Danko tells HRG that this won't happen again. If Tracy does lead HRG to Rebel, HRG needs to kill them both and chalk it up to self-defense.
Tracy walks through a department store and picks out some clothes. She changes in the dressing room. An attendant asks if she would like her to check the sizes, Tracy says no thank you then breaks off a security tag. She changes her mind and opens the door asking the attendant to get her a smaller jacket, but instead of the attendant on the other side, it's HRG.
HRG tells her she should've stuck with Matt Parkman, she could've walked right by him and he would have never found her. She says they did walk right past him. HRG shows her his gun, steps into the changing room, and tells her he bets he could draw his gun and kill her before she can freeze him. He doesn't want to take that bet though. Tracy tells him to take it. While the government was playing Abu Ghraib, she was trying to make ice in an oven. She threatens HRG saying this is a breezy 68 degrees and she's worked up a hell of a "Cold Snap". HRG says "like I said, it's a bet I'd rather not take". The attendant knocks on the door asking if everything is alright. HRG takes off his glasses and answers the door saying he knows no boys allowed, but his fiance' is very self-conscious and could she get her a size down in the jacket. Tracy looks out, smiles and says thank you to the attendant.
They shut the door, HRG puts his glasses back on and asks Tracy who Rebel is. Tracy doesn't know who Rebel is. HRG gives her a choice. Lead him to Rebel and he'll let her go, not to her old life, that's gone forever, but she'll be on the outside and she'll have a chance. If she runs, or kills HRG and then runs, there will be no more conversations. It will be a big, fat cut to black. It will be the end of Tracy.
Matt and Mohinder run into the hospital with Daphne. The staff places Daphne on a gurney and notice the gunshot wound. Mohinder tells Matt he has to be prepared to leave. Matt ignores him. He tells the hospital staff that Daphne is his wife, Janice and she accidently shot herself on a hunting trip with her family. Her dad was a Dr. and patched her up saying she'd be fine, but she's not. The doctor says they have to report all gunshot wounds to the police, but Matt uses his power to convince the staff not to report Daphne's wound and to let Matt stick around to make sure she's ok.
