Trivia
- Due to the Writers Guild of America strike the full run of the second season was cut short, making this the finale.
- This is the first episode of Season Two to feature all main characters.
- Volume 2 was originally supposed to end with Nathan collapsing from the Shanti Virus in the middle of his speech. Due to the writer's strike cutting the season short, the scene was rewritten to end on a more dramatic cliffhanger note, with Nathan being gunned down by an unknown assassin.
- Sylar tells Mohinder that Maya came "all the way from South America just to be here". Sylar makes a mistake - Mexico is in North America.
