So...
I like the way the plot's moving forward, glad Bryan Fuller is back. I'm just overall feeling a good vibe about the rest of this season. How about you all? Dracomaster4 22:07, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
How did Sylar move so fast?
When he went from the backseat of Danko's car to the rooftop he did that alot faster than his current list of abilities indicate. --Snow Leapord 22:31, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- I'm guessing that's part of telekinesis, but I agree, it does seem rather rapid. Dracomaster4 22:32, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- Well the next appearance of Sylar after the car incident happened after a fade out--obviously indicating the start of a new scene. --Formless 22:35, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- He's done it before with telekinesis. I believe it was One Giant Leap. But my gut feeling says that it was just for dramatic effect... they weren't implying or discouraging the theory that he has a new power of some sort. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:36, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- He can use telekinesis on himself? Wouldn't that be overlapping with levitation and flying? --Formless 22:39, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- Well, it's unconfirmed.....perhaps something to go on the ability homology page, though? --Crazylicious 22:42, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, he's implied many times he can make himself hover. I doubt its as sophisticated as levitation, but he's been able to do a bunch of impressive things seemingly thanks to telekinesis, including resist gunfire and avoid making footsteps. --PeterDawson 22:44, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- In response to the "overlapping" to bring in examples from... Jean Gray, Telekinesis is a VERY powerful and versatile ability that can be used for many things... such as flight. Pyrotics 22:46, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- No way, this was entirely to quick to be TK...in One Giant Leap i can understand that he could use it to propel himself upward away from Parkamn, but there wasn't even a car door close...it has to be something new...(unless Sylar is now using his TK to disassemble his molecules only to resturcture them on top of the building...but that'd be to complicated)--Anthony Gooch 23:06, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- No more complicated imo than supercharging super speed to travel through time. --Snow Leapord 23:10, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- lol, well unless Tim confirms that a TK user can disassemble their molecular structure...i doubt it--Anthony Gooch 23:16, 30 March 2009 (EDT)

- I'm placing a bet on Danko having some sort of vision instead of Sylar actually getting in the car.--Ikkian 23:12, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- Are you thinking that Sylar may have a new mental ability?--Anthony Gooch 23:16, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- My thought was that maybe he somehow got to Rachel Mills. I'm sure that this thought will be dismissed through the iStory. --TitanOT 23:17, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- I'm thinking this was supposed to be TK, and that the shortened timespan was due to editing.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:22, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- ^ This --Action Figure 23:33, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- I'm just gonna count it as one of Sylar's many inexplainable feats....lol btw, Check this out!--Anthony Gooch 23:30, 30 March 2009 (EDT)

- I posed this question to BTE - we'll see if they answer it next week... --Jrrenola 09:52, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- I described this incident in the Notes section, which seems to be the best place, since we don't yet know what really happened. --Ted C 10:14, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- TK? Surely not, i mean he didnt even make a sound getting out of the car, and then propells himself through the air? thats a tad ubsurd, my guess is that it is some other ability he aquired, similar to teleportation or illusion maybe --Lolwut 13:45, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
Shape Shifting acquisition
Did Sylar do so through empathy like he did with Elle?
When Sylar heard/saw that James Martin was shot he acted as if he was scarred that James was dead. This implies that he can't acquire abilities if they are already passed on, but when he removes top of their skull removed that kills them before he can examine the brain. Claire would be an exception due to her ability. So why would he be scarred if James is dead? --Snow Leapord 23:21, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- I think Sylar did TK the guy to get to the guy's brain, but then he used another ability to heal the wound (regenerating it with his own blood would be my guess).--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:25, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- I think he removed the brain through the mouth or something similar so he didn't make the head wound.--WarGrowlmon18 23:27, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- ^ This. Just like with Robert Keep in the deleted scenes, to get impenetrable skin. --Action Figure 23:34, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- Did anyone else figure out that the guy had shape shifting before it was revealed? Because I did, I suspected when the guy vomited, I don't know why but that seemed really odd that this trained person would puke. But it was confirmed (for me) when the guy started talking about how Danko's speech was inspirational, almost in a sly taunting way. And I kept saying "he's a shape-shifter" all up to when Danko opened the box. Of course if there was any spoilers, then perhaps it was a sub conscious thing (though I try to stay away from them). So I'd like to think I knew because I'm intelligent rather than a hidden memory that slightly surfaced then and there. Dman dustin 00:22, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- ^ I lol'd. I would agree with the brain-through-the-face possibilty, worked with robert keep. --Lolwut 13:43, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
Obvious reference to se7en
Did anyone else notice? --Acolyt3 02:46, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
Sylar's Rapid Cell Regeneration?
What did Sylar say about RCR? That he needs something (a knife) to be stuck in his head and a bullet to the brain to die? I thought only a bullet to the brain was needed to kill someone with RCR... Arthur died after being shot and he never had an obstruction in his head.. --Peter 07:33, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- He said that the spot needed to be hit was microscopic and Danko said he was a good shot. I think sticking something there afterwards was just to make sure. I think the bullet destroyed that particular spot of Arthur's brain as it went all the way through so there was no need to stick something in.--WarGrowlmon18 11:27, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
Clarie's drinking game
Okay, so this really bugged me while I was watching. How is it Claire doesn't get drunk but Adam Monroe can be the town drunk? --Markistoopimp 11:29, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
- That was before he developed his power. He seemed to get it after that eclipse in the past given how shocked he was by his healing. I didn't really see him get drunk after that.--WarGrowlmon18 11:35, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
