Online's Watch with Kristin revealed in her latest spoiler chat that "Ali Larter's new character is named Tracy Strauss, and she's a political adviser to the governor of New York. Is Tracy connected to Niki? Well, a reporter sure thinks that the nekkid pictures of "Niki" on the Internet are not just a case of mistaken identity. Also, when we pick up the story, Tracy is angling to get Nathan Petrelli a pretty good government job. There has to be a tie between Niki and Tracy in there somewhere, and if you want to know exactly how, email Mr. Linderman, because he knows, and I think he might be the mastermind behind the whole switcheroo." In the same spoiler chat, she revealed that Linderman is dead but he is not gone and will first appear to Nathan. Also, a favorite character's father will be losing his head - not emotionally, but literally. His head will be removed from his body.

  • 8/06 -- The Ausiello Files from EW reveal that Kristin Bell will be back and back to stay. She's back on the set shooting her multi-episode arc as we speak! Woo-hoo! In other Heroes news, look for the action (or at least part of the action) to shift to a comic book shop in Athens, Georgia around Episode 11.
  • 8/01 -- Michael Ausiello from EW reveals Robert Forster has been cast to play Arthur Petrelli, the father of the brothers Petrelli. There's no telling if we'll see Arthur in the present, via flashback, or during one of Hiro's little excursions. Another unknown: whether Arthur will use his powers ('cause you know he's got 'em) for good or evil. Rumors of Arthur's possible "resurrection" this season have been burning up the Internets for months. And while it's not clear when Forster will first turn up, at press tour last month, his on-screen widow, Cristine Rose, hinted in this video interview that a bombshell would be dropped in the two-hour premiere on Sept. 22. "There's a secret that comes out that if you're a true fan, you're just going to die," she teased. "It's a good Angela secret, and it's [not about] her powers." Well, considering the first hour of the premiere was screened at Comic-Con, and, per multiple eyewitnesses, no such Angela secret was revealed, it's safe to say the big reveal will take place in hour 2. Of course, whether or not said reveal is related to Arthur is also a big fat unknown. It's all speculation, people!

  • 7/29 -- Kristin of E! Online reveals "Mohinder is getting powers, and I can tell you that the powers you see exhibited at the end of the finale are not the end of the story. Before too long we'll see him exhibit a nifty power that he shares with one of the top five comic-book superheroes of all time. Care to guess which hero and which power? Here's a hint: Homer Simpson had a pig version. (That's Spider-Man by the way)."
  • 7/21 -- In an interview, Kristin of E! Online had with Adrian Pasdar, James Kyson Lee and Cristine Rose, James mentions that events in Heroes will take place in at least 5 different locations.
  • 7/21 -- Kristin of E! Online interviews Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia and gets several spoilers from them.
    • First from Milo, "I think everybody [this season] is confronting something worse than Sylar. It's something that is going to strike a chord and be close to Peter, what this big obstacle in the road is...[because] it's a threat to everybody; it's a threat to everything. I'm not going to say it's four horsemen or one horseman, but there's gonna be a power that comes in that everybody has to kind of band together to make sure it doesn't run wild."
    • And from Hayden, "Something happens to [Claire] that's actually quite frightening to her, and it plays a big part in who she becomes in the future and what happens to her. I wish I could babble about it now because I have a lot to say about it, but I can't. But it's something, yes, that manifests further about her ability that weighs heavily on her emotionally, and mentally, as a person. And I think it would [weigh on] anyone who would be going through a situation like that...I think Claire plays a very important role in what happens, and in that way she can be worse than all of them." She also said of her character's fate: "Future Claire's very different, and it's a very different world. It's kind of, as you can imagine, a world gone a little bit awry. She's a very different person."
    • Milo also confirms it's true that "he's not quite himself", and Kristin notes that a newly introduced character has something to do with that change.
    • Hayden also all-but-confirmed that West would not be back this season, and that she doesn't get into any new romances...at least not until after the eighth episode.
  • 7/20 -- According to Spoilerfix.com, an upcoming episode will feature Gothic-type character with long hair, Trevor Zeitlan, who will be in his late 20s; Bartell's guy, a L.A. gangster; and a female victim in her 20s.

  • 7/11 -- Hollywood Reporter claims that Ntare Mwine (Blood Diamond) will play an African who is artistic and close to many of the original heroes. His special abilities will be developed throughout his nine-episode arc.
  • 7/10 -- Digital Spy reveals some of the highlights from a promo released at BBC Two's Autumn launch:
    • Nathan Petrelli is apparently dead. We see him rushed to a hospital, where resuscitation attempts fail. "There was nothing we could do," a doctor tells the family.
    • Looks like Elle is going to be spending a bit of time sparring with Sylar this season.
    • Angela Petrelli introduces us to "Level 5", a housing place for the most dangerous criminals in the world-- rapists, arsonists, killers. Presumably this is where the band of Villains escape from.
    • Matt Parkman is alone in the middle of a desert screaming for help.
    • New Villain "The Speedster" steals something from Hiro and quips, "Gotta run."
    • Is Sylar in league with Angela Petrelli? In one short clip, he is seen approaching her from behind and placing his hands on her shoulders.

      • Hiro is shown standing in a hallway as people run away from something.
      • A man sits in a room as Ali Larter walks in wearing a skimpy outfit.
      • An unknown figure is shown from the waist down. He is wearing a black trenchcoat with his finger on the trigger of a handgun at his side while walking away from a seemingly familiar scene.
      • Angela saying "You need to be strong for what is to come".
  • 7/7 -- Kristin of E! Online's spoiler chat log contained a few related to Heroes.
    • Kristin suggests that Nathan's near-death experience will lead him to see at least one dead person, namely Malcolm McDowell.
    • She also confirms that "Ali Larter is coming back as a totally different person (i.e. doppelgänger), meaning someone who is not Niki or Jessica or Gina, and with a whole new power."
    • Lastly, she dishes that Mohinder will have a "love connection with a female Hero we already know (together, they are hot as fire)", and that at least one point in the season, it would not be wrong to say that Suresh has some kind of super-ability. As a clue, Kristin hints that "there is more to him than meets the eye, but he ultimately may need to "scale back.""

Masi Oka's June 19th confirmation that four episodes have been completed puts this scene in episode 5 or later.
  • 7/1 -- Aron and Joe reveal several spoilers in CBR's Behind the Eclipse:
    • We just had an issue with an earthquake power we gave to new character. It turned out that to fully realize it, it would take too long to shoot and reset and do perfectly. So we adapted it slightly (you’ll see to what happens in episode 3)
    • Season Three will pick "up right from the moment Nathan is shot. Well, actually...a few moments before. Well, technically, four years in the future. But that’s only until... Suffice it to say, you will learn who shot Nathan Petrelli from the proverbial get go".
    • Isaac's "sketchbook will indeed [re-]appear (pay attention around episodes 9, 10 and 11 this season) - and we will also meet a new artist, soon enough. Whose style is somewhat familiar. And who has a very familiar subject."
    • Arthur Petrelli will appear in a flashback by Episode #8 of Season Three.
    • Aron and Joe also discuss the evolution of Peter's character: "We all know that “With great power comes great responsibility.” “But we also know that “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” So basically Peter will find himself torn between these two platitudes. It’s Lord Acton vs Stan Lee in a battle for the ages. So stay tuned."
    • And regarding Meredith Gordon's return, Aron and Joe write: "You want Meredith Gordon back? Really? What would we do with her? Bring her back so Claire can bond with her biological mom about having powers while she pushes her own mother aside - because of their biological difference? Where’s the drama there? (and in case you don’t get sarcasm, stay tuned)"

  • 6/30 -- Kristin of E! Online says about Ali Larter: Ali is definitely still a part of Heroes. Niki Sanders, not so much, but Ali will stick around and conjure up a whole new personality we haven't yet seen before Season Three: Tracy Strauss. (Something tells me she'll be hot, blond and look like that chick who once wore a whipped-cream bikini for Dawson Leery.) Also, Matt Parkman is going to end up in the desert with a horse with no name... and a tortoise. Believe it or not, I'm serious about the desert and the tortoise part. Matt's storyline is about to get über-trippy!
  • 6/30 -- Kristin of E! Online interviews Greg Grunberg, Dania Ramirez and new Heroes bad girl Brea Grant. Kristin asks for hints about their characters. Dania says that Maya will take off her crucifix and be on a different note this season, and Greg says that for his character, the tortoise always wins.
  • 6/23 -- According to Kristin of E! Online's spoiler chat, Kristen Bell is still only confirmed for 5 episodes this season, but Cristine Rose will be a new regular. Also, Kristin notes that the San Diego Comi-Con will have just a sneak peak (not the full premiere), and that Sylar is going to start working with Mr. Bennet and share loads of screen time with him.
  • 6/20 -- Heroes Television has a photo of a mural that was painted for shooting of Season 3 in downtown Los Angeles. The mural is a representation of an exploding earth. The scene they are shooting will involve a car chase and “exterior semi-automatic gunfire.” They will also be shooting some exterior dialog scenes. No word on which cast members might be involved in the scenes, but it definitely sounds like some excitement is going down in the upcoming season.
  • 6/16 -- In a video segment of E! Online's Watch with Kristin Show, Kristin dishes that Sylar's heart may actually grow a few sizes in Season Three. She elaborates that he will "do some surprising good-guy stuff and will have a surprising connection to a good-guy character [we] already know."
  • 6/16 -- Kristin of E! Online claims "Claire is not the only character on the show who is adopted. And the next adoption twist is perhaps my favorite twist ever on this show. You know how sometimes those silly promo guys say things like 'It will change everything?' Well this one actually will."
  • 6/16 -- E! Online's Kristin also confirms that Monica and Nana Dawson will return in the first few episodes, during which time their plot will remain in New Orleans and be centered around their relationship with Micah. Kristin also adds that she isn't positive, but believes West is likely to be gone for the time being.
  • 6/16 -- An Oct '07 interview with Shalim Ortiz reveals that his character might return next season. "We’re in the talks. It’s not written in stone yet, but yeah, sure. I’m very good friends with the executive producers, so hopefully we’ll be able to figure something out." Seeing as this was before the strike, scripts could've been changed and Alejandro may remain dead.
  • 6/13 -- SpoilerTV has revealed a casting call for episodes 3.05 and 3.06:
    • Eric Doyle: 30s-48, Male, Caucasian, ideous, horrible and big. A disgusting, villainous man who delights in controlling others. Guest Star/Will be needed for Episode #306. • 6/10 -- A CBR interview with Brea Grant sheds more light on the interaction between Daphne and Hiro. In the interview, Brea claims that "they basically negate each other's powers. Daphne can move even when Hiro freezes time, but she can't move at super speed."
  • 6/10 -- Kristin Dos Santos reveals that Francis Capra has been cast as Jesse Murphy on Heroes, and will share at least one scene with Kristin Bell, his Veronica Mars co-star. Francis is doing a three-episode guest arc as villain Jesse Murphy, a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power. Also, the Bennets and Petrellis are staying front and center, and they will continue to be at odds with each other. There will be some shocking alliances and the appearance of at least one long-lost relative.
  • 6/10 -- IMDb confirms the cast list for some Season 3 episodes.
  • 6/10 -- N'Tare Mwine has joined the cast as an Aboriginal story teller named Usutu. Usutu will appear in episodes 3 and 4. This will not be the first time he has worked with Heroes. N'Tare Mwine was originally to play the terrorist Joseph in the unaired pilot.
  • 6/6 -- Heroes Revealed! has a photo of what looks to be Ali Larter on the set of Season Three, and a video of one of the scenes with a cop trying to arrest her.
  • 6/2 -- Heroes Television has released some new spoilers about Season 3.
    • Nathan will return in episode 1 of Season 3.
    • People who seem to be good could change their minds. Some of them will go to the “dark” side.
    • The first few scripts (episodes?) are “incredible”, villains are going to be more “dynamic”.
    • Season 3 will progress intrigues and answer questions quicker than Season 2.
    • Hiro inherited his father's company and is not happy about this.
    • Anyone can be a Villain, in each of us there is a Villain and a hero, it all depends on the party which manifests itself first. So you never know, but it would take something significant for Hiro to turn bad.
    • Niki will bring together some characters that we would not expect.
    • Adam and Niki (love interest?). Could Niki be his next bride?
