Adam Kane is the director of photography and an episode director for the series Heroes.
About
Son of composer Artie Kane, Adam began his film career covering live sports for the World Cup Ski Races in Aspen, Colorado. He attended the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he filmed nine student films. He then attended the American Film Institute for his Master's degree. While at the AFI, he worked on several music videos and promos for television, including MTV's series Catwalk from 1992 to 1994. He has also been involved in commercial shoots for Honda, Nissan, Philips, and Calvin Klein.
Throughout the latter 1990s, he was involved in many made-for-television films, including USA's Escape from Dino Island. In the 2000s, he turned his talent towards television series work. In 2005, Adam won the Winnipeg IFF Best Narrative Short director's award for the film The Fix. Recently, he was involved in filming several episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Reunion. Following Heroes, Adam directed two episodes of Tim Kring's series Touch.
