Power: Teleportation?

According to the Taylor Cole interview here: , Rachel Mills has some sort of teleporting power, and also a powered mother. --Dumpster juice 10:36, 6 December 2008 (EST)

  • I just added all that as a start since they all appear in tomorrow nights episode. But I think we shouldn't add anything like that in till it is shown on the show or in the webisodes. --User:Xnikix
    • If The Recruit's webisodes end without any more info about her mother, then I think we can add that info as a note, but until then I think we should consider that a spoiler.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:24, 16 December 2008 (EST)
      • Now that I think about it, she was never injected, was she? --Ricard Desi 02:02, 17 December 2008 (EST)

Plot Hole

If the info that was just added from NBC is accurate, then he have a major plot hole in our hands, they show is supposed to be in 2007, but according to her character profile, the whole Pinehearst program happens in 2008. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 19:43, 16 December 2008 (EST)

  • Well, Evolutions content is secondary to episode content in terms of canonicity, so I think it's safe to assume that's an error that got overlooked. I'd ask BTE about it, but the writers confirmed to me a couple months back when I asked about giving dates that they don't really want to give any.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:50, 16 December 2008 (EST)
    • Yeah, they defintely just got confused between now now and Heroes now. It's not the first time it's happened; remember that graphic novel where Matt met Elle in 2008?--BardinessBoy 19:52, 16 December 2008 (EST)
      • Oh yeah, forgot about that. They really should have someone hired to take a look at these continuity issues. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 19:54, 16 December 2008 (EST)
        • You guys seem to be the ones noticing, why don't they hire you? :P Revengeance 03:43, 17 December 2008 (EST)
          • I would do it, but it would have to be via Internet and video conference, I don't live in the USA. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 09:21, 17 December 2008 (EST)
            • Read Help:Sources--NBC is not a canon or near-canon source. If it's part of the Evolutions content, then that's one thing. But a character profile, as far as I understand, is not part of the Evolutions content. NBC has terrific information, but if we took everything that NBC prints at face value, then the Haitian and D.L. would be played by the same guy, Niki would be married to a shapeshifter, and Five Years Gone would still be called String Theory. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:56, 17 December 2008 (EST)
              • Evolutions is Heroes online experience, so I think that we should continue to include the NBC character references under "Heroes Evolutions" headers as we've been doing for the past three webisodes, but Ryan is right that it's an official source and not an in-character source so we shouldn't take it at face value.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2008 (EST)

powered mother

i know these may be a speculation but i think rachel's mother is leonie pinkham ( first name similar to leona and they are both deceased) but for now we can put these under theories right? --Zoga78 00:34, 18 December 2008 (EST)

  • Yeah, that's speculation and can be put under theories.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2008 (EST)
    • Not anymore. Angela claims to have been friends with her mother, Leona, when they were little, and that Leona had a power. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 19:43, 5 January 2009 (EST)
      • It's still speculation that her mother is Leonie Pinkham, which was the original point Super-Hiro

very attractive

no really, the picture you guys chose for Rachel's profile, is quite beautiful. Her predatory look with that bloody nose... Really... really attractive...

Related to Sylar.

Let me just start off by saying I don't belive this but it's some interesting stuff I've noticed. Angela tells Sylar that she knows who his parents are, she also tells Rachel that she knew her mother. Sylar desparatley wants to be special, Rachel wants to be normal. Also we know that Sylar's father will be appearing but have heard nothing of Sylar's mother and Angela says she KNEW Rachel's mother implying she is dead. Think about it, the whole "two sides of the same coin" thing could apply, Rachel could be Sylar's long lost sister. D Toccs 01:51, 8 January 2009 (EST)

  • Okay.--Citizen 10:08, 8 January 2009 (EST)
  • Y'know, that's actually a really good theory. Makes sense too. I for one would actually be willing to believe it... Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T |

  • Sounds like a great idea, that would be too good to be true!--Fr0z3nB0nes 19:54, 10 January 2009 (EST)

Who knows? Maybe they are related that would be a good plot twist, so anxious for the series to return. Citizen why that quote? --Manwithnoname 17:06, 14 January 2009 (EST)

What's gonna happen...

...when Danko finds out that she's a special? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 17:55, 13 February 2009 (EST)

  • Isn't the better question: What's going to happen when Danko finds out that Nathan is a special?--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:00, 13 February 2009 (EST)

Is it just me...

or does anyone else find her name spelled a little strange? I had a great-grandma and have a distant cousin with the same name, spelled/spells it Rachael, I learned this as the name's default spelling. The name spelled Rachel is a bit strange. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:44, 19 February 2009 (EST)

  • It varies, I guess. Rachael is probably the more common now, a la "Rachael Ray", though there are some actresses such as "Rachel Nichols" that have it spelled the other way.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:37, 19 February 2009 (EST)
    • I've never seen it spelled as "Rachael", and it's odd that there'd be an extra a that makes no sound at all. It also makes me think it's pronounced like Michael with a hard ch. It also looks awkward, while I think Rachel looks much nicr. --Radicell 05:39, 19 February 2009 (EST)
      • I've seen both variations, but Rachel is definitely the most common one, at least for me. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 07:33, 19 February 2009 (EST)
  • The only Rachael I "know" is Rachael Ray. I thought she did that to "stand" out. Like some actors who change their names because an actor already goes by that name. Rachael just looks wrong. --Snow Leapord 23:31, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

Isn't she an evolved human?

  • I thought Danko doesn't want evolved humans to join their team.--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 18:26, 3 March 2009 (EST)
    • he just doesn't know she seems to be trying really hard for nobody to notice.Meesa yoda 18:29, 3 March 2009 (EST)
    • Right, Danko doesn't know. In the story, there is currently no test for who is or isn't an evolved human like there is in Five Years Gone.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:30, 3 March 2009 (EST)

The actress that plays her in the Webisodes and in the series are they the same? Because when I watched the episodes with her in them I just thought she was some random female biggot working for that whackjob Danko. I don't they even look a like the webisode one is hotter by far. --Snow Leapord 23:33, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

  • Yes, it's the same actress, Taylor Cole, in both the webisodes and the past two episodes.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:48, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

Shades of Gray vs. Puppet/No Strings

So if she rescued Doyle in "Puppet...", why does she seem to threaten him, and he seems to consider her a threat, in "Shades"? He's portrayed as having a conflict over whether to kill her or not, well beyond a ruse (who would he be faking it for?). But he shouldn't after she helped him and he knows she works for Rebel. --Gadfly 13:19, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

  • Rachel has a partner, Jason, so she needs to put on an act for his sake.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:28, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
    • Jason wasn't there, and why would Doyle mutter to himself about whether to kill Rachel or not, when Jason couldn't hear him or care even if he was there? Besides, if they were staging a ruse, why would Doyle express any doubts? Having doubts about killing Rachel would make it more likely they were in league, not less. --Gadfly 16:59, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
      • Jason was nearby... he came up behind Eric Doyle, but then Claire arrived and tripped Jason allowing Eric Doyle to escape. Still, I agree that Eric Doyle is troubled. He knows that Rachel helped him before, but since she was again trying to capture him, he was torn of whether to finish her off or just incapacitate her.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:14, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

Shouldn't her image be updated? She has appeared on the show already and had lines, we can get a better image for her. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:43, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

I already have pics saved from the latest entry of Beeman's Blog, if that's not okay then I will post one from the latest episodes. --TrueBlueBrooklynite 15:38, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

        • I understand and thank you. Also I've been here for maybe three weeks or so, but I'm still learning the ropes. --TrueBlueBrooklynite 16:27, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
          • I think the photo could be a bit brighter... a photo of Rachel from when she encountered Doyle in Shades of Gray would probably a good choice as it's a bright scene. Also, the image needs to be standard size (200 pixels wide by 250 pixels tall).--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:31, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

iStory: The Agent

What is her status following episode 408? --Jrrenola 11:42, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

  • I think you mean chapter 408. Her status is unclear... (it's not confirmed that either she or the Commander is dead, if that's what you mean). At the end of the chapter, she closes her eyes while falling from twenty feet up onto a fire escape that she presses the button to detonate.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:06, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

Should we note:

that is faction zero, rachel thinks that telepath's generally live longer than telekinetic's, and all of the other stuff she says as well, or at least on the power pages as trivia? --mc_hammark 11:35, 27 September 2009 (EDT)

  • I don't think we should, just because that is what Rachel thinks, it could go down on her page under notes as "Rachel believes that telepaths generally live longer than telekinetics" - Leckie -- Talk 12:38, 27 September 2009 (EDT)
    • What about her thoughts about telepaths relying too much on their power (matt in Jump, Push, Fall telling the pool guy to back off) and telekinetics using it for simple tasks (sylar in many cases eg. in Seven Minutes to Midnight he uses it to pull a cup of coffee towards him)? --mc_hammark 13:56, 27 September 2009 (EDT)

Heroes Evolutions archive

I've heard a lot of complaints about this page being too long. Indeed, it was 102 kilobytes, and a page is recommended to be only about 25 or 30 kilobytes. But her entire history is contained in Season Three, so making a page for "Rachel Mills/Season Three" would defeat the purpose, because then that page would be just as long. So it was suggested to me that I split off just the Evolutions (and iStory) history. That actually seems to work nicely. (See Rachel Mills/Heroes Evolutions.) It's not a practice I want to make standard, but in Rachel's case, I think it works well. I'm open to suggestions and comments, of course. The only thing that remains now, really, is to just write a brief summary (maybe 3-4 paragraphs) of her iStory history. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:14, 2 October 2009 (EDT)

  • On her Heroes Evolutions page, why does it need the Character History section? it is all about Heroes Evolutions, so that header shouldn't be on there. It is different than the others, correct? ~~IHHTalk 21:47, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
    • The character history includes any history from episodes, graphic novels, webisodes, and Heroes Evolutions content (including iStories). Therefore, everything on her archive page is part of her character history. The heading is also standard for character history archive pages. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:58, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
      • But it's not a standard page! It's strictly iStory! ~~IHHTalk 22:07, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
        • Doesn't it still contain her character history? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:33, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
          • Heroes Evolutions is in a different header than Character History..~~IHHTalk 06:19, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
            • If you look at any iStory character's page, you'll see Character History first, then Heroes Evolutions. --Radicell 06:32, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
              • Correct, in case they ever appear in an episode, GN, or webisode. But considering that this page is strictly for Heroes Evolutions, how can they appear in that? ~~IHHTalk 06:38, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
                • ITS A PART OF HER CHARACTER HISTORY!!! lol, It is all a part of Rachel's history. It is a part of the Heroes Evolutions category but even that is part of the Character History categories on any character's main page. AJUTChronicles
                  • The "Character History" heading seems to really be bugging people. Why don't we add a little note under it that says where to find her full character history... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:34, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
