Sterling Beaumon is the American actor who plays the young Crane boy.
About
Before Heroes, Sterling has appeared in various television series, including Bones, Tim Kring's Crossing Jordan, Cold Case, Scrubs, and Lost as "Young Ben". Sterling also appeared in House M.D. with fellow youngster Adair Tishler. He has strong credits in independent films such as Oblivion, Nebraska, Loaded, Twixter, and Sheltered. In addition to his television and film credits, Sterling has had quite a prolific stage career for such a young actor with roles in the Geffen Playhouse Ovation award-winning All My Sons. He is talented singer and dancer too with roles in such musicals as The Wizard of Oz, Annie Get Your Gun, Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, Dvorak in America, and A Christmas Carol. Sterling has also acted with the LA Musical Theatre Guild in Sail Away and Street Scene. Additionally, he provided the English voice of "Carossa" in the Japanese anime series Gunsword, and has appeared in many commercials.
