Talk:Echo DeMille

I got rid of the note at the bottom it was just wrong, in that behind the eclipse they never stated Echo as an escapee, they just stated him as going to be in episode 13.

Lee Evans

Sorry if this shouldn't go here. But does anyone else think he looks a bit like Lee Evans? --Rybo5000

Spoiler cat

The cat should be autoadded by the infobox template. There's no reason to add a spoiler cat to this article.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:35, 9 July 2008 (EDT)

Seriously? A guy with the power of sonic screaming is named Echo? --Piemanmoo 04:18, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

  • Yup. I guess he would create one hell of an echo inside a cave... ;) More seriously, I think it's a tribute to the Lost character.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:25, 11 July 2008 (EDT)
  • lol Pie. I don't think it's a very creative name either. Jason Garrick 00:07, 13 July 2008 (EDT)
Yeah... the name kinda bugs me... As a superhero/hidden identity name, it would be quite nice... but as a birth name... Maybe his parents had the ability to see the future :)
As of the Lost character, he's actually named Eko :) Pierre 07:12, 31 July 2008 (EDT)

Significant other

Why does it link to the character that is portrayed by Ali Larter? The girl in the picture on the phone looks nothing like Ali Larter. --Dman dustin 06:07, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

  • It's because we already have someone named Gina. That was one of Niki's alternate personalities so the link goes there by mistake. It'll have to be fixed. (Admin 09:24, 15 July 2008 (EDT))

I haven't been able to follow Heroes very much this summer, but shouldn't this page be moved to Echo DeMille? That's how it's spelled in the graphic novel. Is there somewhere else it's spelled "De Mille"? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:42, 31 July 2008 (EDT)

  • It was spelled that way ("De Mille") in the original description for the webisodes and is spelled that way in the intro to the Webisodes credits, though the actual credits use "Demille"... Anyways, seeing as how it looks like "DeMille" (no space) is the more prevalent spelling, I'm okay with changing it, as long as we're consistent with a single spelling (we've been using "De Mille" everywhere thus far).--MiamiVolts (talk) 06:56, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
    • Agre on DeMille. Pierre 07:07, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
      • Does that mean that we can also change Whitebeard to White Beard, as he is described in every single episode of season two? (agree on DeMille) --DocM 07:47, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
        • Whitebeard is a separate discussion.--MiamiVolts (talk) 07:56, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
          • It should be DeMille.DarthYotho 09:10, 1 August 2008 (EDT)
  • I moved the page to DeMille. According to's character reference that is how it should be spelled and also according to the graphic novel as well. I think the original spelling(s) were incorrect. If I am wrong, it can always be changed back. :) --Pinkkeith 17:09, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

Butterfly Effect?

In Spoiler:Other, a source is cited saying Kiko Ellsworth would be in Episode:The Butterfly Effect. Was he in it and I missed him, or did they cut him out? Anyone know? —OptimisticFool 23:26, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

  • I think it was a false spoiler. It looks like Echo won't be returning until a later episode. In either case, the episode has passed so the spoiler can be removed.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:01, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

Jesse Murphy?

Do we have any evidence yes/no as to whether Jesse Murphy was the same Jesse who was Echo's half-brother?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:09, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

  • It should be obvious that they aren't but as for evidence Jesse Murphy wasn't in the military. Jesse Murphy is never mentioned to have had a brother. Their personal histories clash with each other. Different ethnicities. The list goes on. - Cael 19:24, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
    • Well because of the similar powers, i would think so. Flint & Meredith have similar powers and they are sister & brother.--Isaac Mendez 16:10, 19 December 2008 (EST)
      • There is no evidence that Jesse Murphy is in any way related to Echo DeMille. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:46, 19 December 2008 (EST)

how do we know that echo escapes? --Manwithnoname 10:16, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

hm... we don't? Pierre 10:18, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

works for me--Manwithnoname 07:20, 17 October 2008 (EDT)

No, one of the CBR weekly interviews states that all Level 5 prisoners escaped. Therequiembellishere 12:07, 17 October 2008 (EDT)
Well with episode 13 now gone, we know he did not escape... or at least if he did, they caught him back.--Smumdax 06:23, 16 December 2008 (EST)

And here I thought...

...he would be getting a bigger role. In graphic novels, in new webisodes, in anything. But they just kill him off as soon as he's introduced on the actual show. What a letdown. RIP Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:42, 15 December 2008 (EST)

I second this... I was waiting to see the caracter do more then just lay dead. It is a very big disapointment that they (the writers) didn't do anything to really capitalize on the already established webisode story... They just put him there so that the caracter is aknowledged, no more. Kinda lame and counter-productive.--Smumdax 06:26, 16 December 2008 (EST)
And this is the third time this volume this has happened. First we had the German dying before he could do anything apart from...punch someone in the face? And soon after that, we had Bridget dead so she could give Sylar a power that he hasn't even used once. Not even the usual "hey look guyz, i haves a new trick" they usaully do. Now even Echo, who I thought would do at least more than an episodes worth of stuff, ends up doing less than the guy from the graphic novels. What happened to characters like Hana?--BardinessBoy 06:56, 16 December 2008 (EST)
That was Echo?! I was wondering who it was. He didn't look like Echo to me.--Riddler 07:22, 16 December 2008 (EST)
  • Sylar did use Bridget's power , in Angels and monsters when he saves Claire he said , he said he saw all the pain that he caused her
    • I don't think so. If he had used the ability, I would imagine they would make it a bit more obivous - they're generally pretty clear about these kinda things. I mean, look at the lie detection power; it would've been a great power to just leave to characters reactions, yet we have a sound effect and visual effect to tell us when it's happening. --BardinessBoy 15:45, 16 December 2008 (EST)

Dual, Duel, Duality, War

Nonsense appearance in Dual

  • Echo's appearaance in the episode in Dual is totally pointless. They should've atleast given us some action scene between him and Sylar... they didn't even show his ability in the episode. x_x --NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 15:27, 16 December 2008 (EST)
    • I would have loved a scene of him facing off with sylar. Echo screaming at sylar, who falls over grasping his ears, then when he gets up, he smirks and says "i can do that too" screams and slits Echo's throat... but oh well, maybe there'll be a deleted scene where he at least gets one lineEhsteve23 15:37, 19 December 2008 (EST)

So can we assume that he didn't escape level 5. We already have 12 escapees accounted for. Maybe he was still bolted to that chair and nobody bothered to help him out lol.--D Toccs 18:27, 16 December 2008 (EST)

  • I sent in a question to BTE regarding that. We'll have to yet and see if they'll answer it. --OutbackZack 16:20, 19 December 2008 (EST)
    • Yes if Echo did indeed escape with the other prisoners how was he recaptured, could this appear in a graphic novel?-- By Danko CH 14:27, 30 May 2009 (EDT)
